Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 456

When Larry got out of the car, he said suddenly, "I don't mean to force you to stay with someone else. I think that you should know more men and learn about your heart. Then you can make a better choice this time.”

Scarlett was moved and nodded, "I see, Larry.”

Larry said, "Although I have no objection to you being with Raymond, grandfather won't agree easily. All after, Raymond has done these things to you."

Scarlett smiled, "If we hold on to the end, he needs to persuade grandfather by himself."

'I won't help him.'

Larry looked at her and didn't say anything else.

Alexis recommended the restaurant to Scarlett before. Luckily, Larry liked it.

Larry came here for a business trip, but he also wanted to see Scarlett.

He was too busy. When he was eating, he received phone calls nonstop.

Larry hung up and massaged his forehead. He said, "Scarlett, I'm sorry. I'm busy recently."

Scarlett didn't care and smiled, "Never mind. Are you full this time?"

He knew that she was teasing him. He smiled, "I'm full. I will ask my secretary to pick me up. You can come home first and take a rest. It's late at night."

Scarlett said, "Where do you live? I would like to drive you home."

He refused, "No need. You're a girl."

Scarlett fell into a trance. It had been a long time since someone said that she was a girl. After her parents passed away, she became mature overnight. She could only protect herself after she lost her parents.

But she had a cousin, a grandfather, an uncle and an aunt now. She wasn't alone anymore. She was a little girl in their eyes.

She blinked and held her tears back. She said, "I won't leave until Secretary Lewis come here to pick you up."

Larry glanced at her but didn't ask her to leave.

She said, "OK."

She could only accept the request. Peyton introduced himself soon. [Peyton: Hi, I'm Peyton Fitzpatrick ]

Scarlett also introduced herself to him, but he didn't send any message to her after that. Then Lewis arrived. Scarlett breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Larry, Secretary Lewis has arrived."

Larry said, "OK. You can go home now. Text me when you arrive home."

She said, "OK. "

She picked up her bag. Larry stood there and looked at her. He said, "I will see you get in the car."

She nodded.

She crossed the road. Before she got in the car, she looked back. Larry was still looking at her.

She was touched and thought of a scene. Many years ago, when she went to school, her parents also stood on the opposite side of the road and saw her get in a taxi.
