Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 432

"Scarlett, I'm a little drunk, I feel like going to bed.”

With that, Raymond closed his eyes without speaking again.

But Raymond still held her tightly. Scarlett tried to pull his hand away, but she failed.

She got up at six o'clock in the morning to catch the plane. She didn't sleep well during the flight due to the noise and she was a little tired now. It was the lunch break, and the sound of Raymond's breathing as he slept made her stupefy, and she soon fell asleep, too.

When Raymond woke up, Scarlett was still asleep.

The sun was shining brightly outside the window. Raymond reached for the remote control and closed the curtain, and the room suddenly darkened.

After the divorce, he hadn't slept this well in a long time, even if it was only for forty minutes or so.

After sleeping, Raymond was quite sober. Remembering what Scarlett had just said, his face turned cold. He carefully loosened his hand, went downstairs and took his mobile phone to call Frank.

Frank was surprised to get the call from Raymond, "Hi, Mr. Shaw."

Since Frank knew that Raymond left with Scarlett, he had been afraid to call

Raymond all afternoon. Because he dared not to bother them.

Now Raymond called him first, Frank was a little flustered.

A while back, Raymond wasn't in the mood to work. Now that he was with Scarlett, Frank thought Raymond should be more reluctant to talk about work.

He didn't expect Mr. Shaw to call him and ask about the job. He was surprised and touched.

Well, Mr. Shaw was a very responsible and dedicated boss.

"Secretary Lewis, help me check what Yvonne has been doing recently."

"Miss Sheridan?"

"Yes."

Then Raymond just hung up.

Before Frank could ask him if he returned to the 4 pm meeting, the call was ended by Raymond.

Frank looked at the hung-up call and sighed.

After hanging up the phone, Raymond went to take a bath.

He couldn’t stand the smell of alcohol.

Scarlett smiled, "What do you want?" "Water.

As he said, he reached out and took the water glass from her hand.

"There are many glasses over there. Why are you using mine?"

Raymond drank more than half of it and returned the glass to Scarlett, "I'm thirsty."

Scarlett glanced at him and turned to refill a glass of water.

When she came out, Raymond was sitting on the sofa to answer the phone.

Scarlett was standing by drinking water and looking at him when Raymond noticed her gaze.

He turned his head and looked at her.

Then he hung up, "What do you think?"

Scarlett pretended not to understand what he was saying, "What?"

Raymond frowned slightly, raised his hand to pull his loose robe, "Nothing."
