Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 1256

"I'm here."

After she asked, she saw Raymond come in with porridge.

She had been tense during the confinement. When she returned home yesterday, she felt safe, and a wave of tiredness swept over her. She was so sleepy that she fell asleep quickly.

When she woke up and didn't see Raymond, she couldn’t help panicking, as she thought that she was still in that old house.

Raymond sat in front of her with the porridge. "Are you hungry?"

After Scarlett went back to her own house and had a sound sleep, she calmed down a lot.

She looked at Raymond and nodded. "Yeah, I’m hungry."

"Do you want to eat some porridge?"

"I want to wash up first."

"Okay."

When she stepped out of the bathroom several minutes later, Raymond patted the sofa beside him. "Come here. I'll feed you."

Scarlett glanced at him and walked to sit beside him.

After she ate a bowl of porridge, she felt comfortable.

Usually, her appetite was not huge. But this time she didn't feel full until she ate two bowls of porridge.

It was still early after she had eaten breakfast. Then Scarlett replied to Alexis's messages.

Raymond didn't tell many people about Scarlett's disappearance, so Alexis didn't know about it.

But Scarlett hadn't replied to Alexis's messages for several days. Though Alexis was often slow in coming to realization, she had been thinking whether there was something wrong with Scarlett.

Scarlett replied to Alexis according to Raymond's advice. After sitting on the sofa for a while, she took some clothes and went to take a bath.

"Do you need some help?"

After a while, Raymond asked her again whether she had finished washing.

He asked Scarlett three times within fewer than fifteen minutes. Then Scarlett dried herself with a towel, put on her pajamas and walked out of the bathroom.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw Raymond.

Scarlett became stunned. Several seconds later, she raised her arms and hugged him, wrapping her arms around his waist. She patted his back, as if she had been soothing a child. "I'm back, Raymond."

She blinked and looked up at him with a smile.

Raymond lowered his head and kissed her. Then he carried her in his arms and put her on the bed. He touched her long wet hair and said, "I'll get the hairdryer."

"Okay."

Scarlett responded and sat there quietly, watching Raymond walk into the bathroom to get the hair dryer.

She was terrified these days. But she knew that perhaps Raymond was more terrified than her.
