It was the night of the fourth day that Scarlett had been kidnapped. When Scarlett got up around 3 a m. to use the bathroom, she heard a voice outside.
She had chains on her feet that allowed her to walk around, but she could only get a few inches out of the room.
The woman's voice wasn't too loud, but the house was vacant, and it was just her and Tiera there.
Tiera told the person on the other end of the phone to wait a few more days and that things would work out by then.
"He's got money and he's going to spend the rest of his life in jail. What's he going to do with that money? Don't worry! I know what to do! Raymond cares very much about his wife! And his wife is pregnant. I don't believe Raymond would leave his wife alone!"
Hearing Tiera's words, Scarlett was stunned. She finally knew what Tiera wanted!
Tiera was a tough and ruthless woman!
Who knew what she would do if she went desperate? Just as Scarlett was about to go back to the room, the door was pulled open.
Tiera looked at her. "Mrs. Shaw, it's not good for you to know too much."
Although Tiera had been shutting Scarlett up for the past few days, she didn't do anything terrible to Scarlett.
However, what Tiera had just said on the phone had stunned Scarlett. But as Scarlett had been locked up here for a few days, she was calmer than she had been in the first few days.
"It's late. I'm going back to bed."
Scarlett pretended not to understand
Tiera's words. She turned around and went back to bed.
Tiera literally was considerate towards Scarlett.
After finishing washing up, Scarlett sat down in the room. Then Tiera came back with breakfast.
It was past 9 o'clock. The weather was lovely outside. Scarlett pulled back the curtains to let the sun in. Just as she sat down on the bed, Tiera came back with breakfast.
Scarlett cast a glance out of the window, and then she turned to Tiera.
Tiera looked down at Scarlett for a moment, and then she turned to leave.
Scarlett was accustomed to the daily routine here. But last night Tiera's words were so frightening that Scarlett was still scared.
At about twelve o'clock, Tiera brought in the noon meal. Instead of leaving immediately, she sat down in a chair. "Mrs. Shaw, would you like to hear my story?"
