Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 1038

Devin wore a white suit today and looked quite handsome.

But Scarlett's good friends such as Alexis and Justin were good-looking, so Devin’s face was not attractive to her at all.

"I'm sorry. I don’t know you well."

Scarlett was indifferent to Devin.

Obviously, she did not want to continue talking with Devin.

However, Devin ignored her indifference. He shook the glass of red wine in his hand and asked, "You avoid me every time you see me as if I am a monster. Am I that scary?"

Hearing his words, Scarlett smiled lightly.

Mr. Roach, you are not scary, but my husband is."

Scarlett said and raised her hand. The ring on her ring finger glistened in the light of crystal chandeliers.

Devin was stunned for a moment. He did not expect Scarlett to be married.

Within just a second, Scarlett walked away.

When Devin came to his senses, Scarlett had already walked into the crowd.

Just after Scarlett got rid of Devin, she saw Alexander approaching her.

"Scarlett."

From a distance, Alexander just saw a man hitting on Scarlett. As Raymond's best friend for over thirty years, Alexander naturally couldn't watch another man seduce Raymond's wife.

But Scarlett was smarter than he thought. She easily got rid of that man.

"Alexander, long time no see."

Scarlett could not help but laugh. "Indeed."

She glanced at Alexander and went on, " That is because my husband is not him."

Alexander finally came to his senses and became a little unhappy immediately. "I am Alexander Smith. Who are you?" Hearing Alexander’s name, Devin froze for a moment. "I am Devin Roach.”

Both of them had never met each other, but they had heard of each other.

Alexander clicked his tongue. "Oh, Mr. Roach, I've heard a lot about you."

Alexander said with disdain, as if he was provoking Devin.

Devin had never been provoked before. He snorted, "Mr. Smith, I've heard a lot about you, too."

Scarlett stood there calmly as if it was none of her business. A waiter passed by her with drinks. She reached for a glass of orange juice and sipped it slowly.
