Tangled Temptations novel Chapter 89

She was itching to take a look.

Eloise's long hair fell loose as she dashed outside barefoot.

Marianna said with a smile, "Put your shoes on quick, or Attorney will have a fit."

But Eloise didn't have time to bother with her, the piano entranced her in front of the French windows.

Harvey naturally gave her something quite fancy, a piano worth 2 million bucks with a royal history.

It was said that Louis II played it once.

It had a charming name, Astral.

Eloise was all over it.

There was a red rose on the piano cover, and it suddenly reminded her of Harvey holding her tight last night, whispering "My Beloved" in her ear.

She blushed, feeling entirely moved by Harvey's gesture!

Marianna was also delighted seeing her like that, saying eagerly, "Ms. Laurent, play it a bit. Let me hear."

Eloise softly agreed. She sat down, opened the piano cover, her slender fingers landed on the black and white keys, and began to play.

She played a piece.

Marianna wasn't an art fan, but she thought Ms. Laurent played beautifully, especially seeing Ms. Laurent in her vintage lace nightgown with her waist-length hair loose.

Sitting there, she looked like a piece of art, absolutely stunning!

Attorney sure was lucky!

Eloise finished a piece. She gently caressed the warm keys, reluctant to leave.

The bedroom phone rang, it was Harvey calling, Marianna tactfully exited the room.

Eloise picked up the phone.

"Got the gift?" Harvey asked jokingly.

Eloise nodded obediently.

She hung up the phone and couldn't resist touching the piano again. Eloise was immersed in this huge joy in her life, but she never thought how was she going to take this piano with her when the day came for her to leave?

Her feelings were pure, and she forgot that this extreme pampering was a way for men of status to treat women, praising her to the skies when in love and leaving cleanly when bored.

The only one left spoiled was her.

Marianna had prepared breakfast.

She said excitedly: "Ms. Laurent, breakfast is ready. The piano man was saying, who played this piano again? I forgot."

Eloise laughed. She touched the shiny black lacquered piano, softly saying, "Louis II played this piano."

Marianna laughed: "My memory is terrible."

Eloise went back to her bedroom to wash up and change clothes for breakfast, Marianna handed her a business card: "Oh, Ms. Vanessa dropped by early this morning with her card. She said she wanted to invite you for dinner."
