Harvey was leaning on the car, grinning at Eloise, "Do I look handsome?"

Eloise couldn't take her eyes off him.

He was just standing there, looking like a real-life painting without any embellishment.

Harvey straightened up, walked towards her, and when they were two steps apart, he was looking at her from top to bottom.

"Were you disappointed last night?"

He was very serious, and Eloise blushed at his words, just as she was about to explain, Harvey had already wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close.

Their bodies were pressed close together, feeling each other's presence.

Harvey leaned in and whispered in her ear, "You have such a slim waist! I like your dress." And then his gaze gently swept over her long, smooth legs.

They got in the car, and Eloise looked at Harvey.

He was more than handsome on regular days, but today, he was just irresistible.

Noticing her gaze, Harvey turned to her, feeling very happy, but still seriously said, "Ms. Laurent, control your eyes, will you?"

Eloise blushed at his words.

Harvey leaned in and whispered. "Don't get your skirt dirty, ok?"

He was such a tease!

Eloise turned her head towards the window, "Just drive."

Harvey chuckled, lightly stepped on the gas.

20 minutes later, the black sports car pulled into the only luxury hotel in Peterborough.

The doorman recognized Harvey and greeted him respectfully, "Attorney, are you here for a meal?"

Harvey nodded slightly.

He parked the car at the hotel entrance and unbuckled Eloise's seat belt, "We have to walk a bit to the parking lot, you wait for me here."

Looking at her high heels, Eloise was touched by Harvey's thoughtfulness and leaned in to kiss him.

Harvey looked deeply at her and whispered, "Are you in such a hurry? This is the hotel entrance."

Eloise felt a bit embarrassed.

As she got out of the car, she said, "I'll go first, you come find me in the banquet hall later."

Harvey just smiled, not responding.

When the elevator reached the floor of the banquet hall and the doors opened, they saw Ravenna standing at the entrance of the hall.

She was wearing a tight red dress tonight, very glamorous.

Veronica laughed and said, "You certainly know how to dress to impress!"

She noticed Max in an instant.

He was sitting in the best spot in the hall, obviously noticing them too.

Max looked surprised.

He always knew Eloise was beautiful, but she was different tonight. She was full of femininity, the kind that makes a man want to hold her, to get close to her.

Veronica whispered to Eloise, "I bet, Ravenna will definitely sit next to Max! She just doesn't know when to quit! She's still trying to compete with you."

Eloise felt a bit helpless.

She and Max had nothing to do with each other anymore, Ravenna was barking up the wrong tree.

Besides, she dressed up not for Max, but rather for her date with Harvey.

He said he would stay with her until the end tonight.
