Tangled Temptations novel Chapter 62

Eloise thought Harvey would be mad.

However, Harvey pulled her in closer, whispering in her ear, "I already had dinner."

Eloise blushed, thinking he was utterly shameless!

Harvey seemed in a good mood, striding to the dining room and calling out, "Come and eat!"

Eloise went to wash her face first.

In the bathroom, she turned on the faucet, splashing cold water on her face... trying to calm down.

She needed to deal with Ravenna as soon as possible.

And she had no intention of telling Harvey, she had already brought him enough trouble, she understood their relationship, she couldn't just act spoiled whenever she was in trouble.

Harvey's time was precious!

Eloise adjusted her mood and walked out of the room, only to find a feast in the dining room, much more abundant than what she had prepared.

Harvey casually said, "I had my family's chef send it over."

He added, "If you don't like cooking, let Marianna do it!"

Eloise hurriedly said, "It’s okay, I'll do it." She knew Harvey valued his privacy, and Marianna coming over at night would definitely disturb his work, she didn't want to make him sacrifice for her.

Harvey didn't insist further, eating quietly.

Eloise felt she was here to take care of him, so she took the initiative to serve him a bowl of thick soup, placing it in front of him.

Harvey looked up.

Eloise whispered, "It looks delicious."

Harvey didn't have the soup right away, instead he said something profound, "I'd be happy if you were this forward when we kiss."

The atmosphere suddenly became delicate, both of them reminded of that kiss in the car.

Although it was a kiss, it was much more.

Eloise's cheeks heated, how could he bring that up during dinner!

Eloise was stunned.

She stared at him blankly, not knowing how to react for a moment.

In the end, Harvey decided to clear things up with her.

"Orlena once tried to commit suicide, so telling her to break up with Max is impossible now! Since she can't break up, let her enjoy it to her heart's content, and when she has had enough, she won't be so infatuated anymore! So what does it matter what kind of person Max is, whether he's innocent or not? As long as Orlena is happy now, that's all that matters.

Eloise was filled with mixed feelings.

Even though he was talking about Max, how different was she, Eloise? Harvey was attentive to her, but all he really cared about was one thing, happiness!

She was silent for a long time, what kind of person was Harvey, how could he not see what she was thinking?

He gently caressed her face, whispering, "We're different. We're in mutual love, or to put it in a nicer way, in love... Eloise, don't you like my looks, my body?"

Eloise gently closed her eyes.

“Yes, I do.” Eloise thought.
