Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 854

The lips of the men dressed in black twitched simultaneously. Did Yvette not realize she was being abducted right now? This was the first time they ran into a cooperative hostage. The job this time was practically a steal.

"Yvie, you can't go with them…" Madison was so anxious that she almost cried. Before she could finish her sentence, however, the leader of the group knocked her unconscious and tossed her to the ground.

The man then turned to Yvette and said, "You know what's good for you—I'll give you that. Now that you're coming with us willingly, you won't have to suffer."

Another added, "Exactly. You're one of the smartest hostages I've ever encountered. Get in the car now. Move!"

A black car rolled to a sudden stop in front of the group. Yvette leisurely sat in the passenger's seat before crossing her feet casually, looking every bit like the person in charge. She didn't look like she was being abducted at all.

"Who gave you guys the order to abduct me?"

The leader of the group snarled impatiently, "Stop asking questions about stuff you're not meant to know!"

Yvette narrowed her delicate eyes slightly, and her voice turned cold when she spoke next. "Answer me."

The leader noticed the commanding tone in her voice, and his expression darkened immediately. "Haven't I shown you enough respect, bitch? How dare you talk to me like this? You're courting death here."

"I'm the one who has shown you too much respect," Yvette responded indifferently. But something about her tone struck fear in their hearts.

"What did you just say? How dare you speak this arrogantly to me? Are you aware that I have control over your—"

Before the leader was done yelling, Yvette suddenly reached out and choked him. Then, she mercilessly slammed his head against the steering wheel.

Someone else chimed in, "That's right. We'll make her regret doing this to you!"

At that moment, the leader was gnashing his teeth hatefully. He endured the intense pain and scrambled to his feet. Then, he stared at Yvette viciously.

He had never suffered such humiliation in his life. Worse yet, he was beaten by a lady into this disheveled state, which only added insult to injury.

The man said through gritted teeth, "Do whatever you want. Just don't kill her. After all, they explicitly said that they wanted her alive."

"Don't worry about it, chief. We know what we're doing."
