Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 852

Jacob and the other Murray brothers had shortlisted the best venues in Jubilife City, but Rosarium Manor had outclassed them by a landslide.

When Wilson rejected all of Sean's ideas for the birthday celebration venue, the latter was displeased with it. Now, however, he had all but accepted it.

Jacob made a snap decision. "This will be the venue. We'll discuss the specifics of the birthday party. The point is that this is the first time Yvie has had her birthday celebration since her return. We have to make sure that everything's perfect."

The next day, Yvette woke up and found that there was no one next to her. It was clear that Wilson had left a long time ago. Why was he suddenly this busy?

Yvette pursed her lips, and the bewilderment in her eyes intensified.

"Mr. Quinn prepared breakfast for you, Ms. Yvette. He's already gone to the company. So, I'll be taking you to Jubilife University today." Samuel immediately approached her respectfully as soon as she went downstairs after freshening up.

Yvette glanced at him nonchalantly. "Is he very busy lately?" Her tone was indifferent, but she exuded an imposing air.

Samuel was already sweating. He shielded himself from the immense pressure and nodded. "Y-Yeah. Mr. Quinn went to Yenosha a while ago. As such, there are a lot of work matters that require his attention at the company. I reckon he'll be quite busy for a good while."

Yvette rubbed her chin in thought. "So that's how it is."

Samuel let out a sigh of relief when he realized that she didn't suspect anything. It was a good thing he was quick-witted and made up a plausible excuse. Wilson would surely end him if Yvette had sensed that something was amiss.

After breakfast, Samuel drove Yvette to Jubilife University.

Madison retorted, "It's fine, mister. You can take the money. Have some delicious food instead of just eating bagels."

However, the old man was exceptionally stubborn. He wouldn't take Madison's money, no matter what. "No, I'm not doing that. I can't take this much money from you. All I need is for you to buy some bagels from that restaurant over there.

"I'll be very grateful if you're willing to do that. The last thing I want is for you two to spend too much money on me."

"Fine, then." Madison couldn't win the argument. She had no choice but to nod and agree to his proposal. She turned around and looked at Yvette. "I'm going to buy some bagels for the old man, Yvie. Are you going to head to the classroom first, or are you coming with me?"

At the next moment, the old man immediately turned his cloudy eyes to Yvette. He sounded a little anxious when he spoke. "You should go with her and keep her company, young lady."

Yvette glanced at the old man for a second before responding softly, "Sure. I'll come with you."
