Now, they were massaging her head. Waves and waves of comfort weakened her body. Moving felt like a chore. It was as if the exhaustion she hadn’t even realized had taken root in her body was now being thrown out.

She couldn’t even hear the strange voice she had just let out. Or maybe she did but simply didn’t care enough to react to it.
