Chapter 103
After saying this, Jeremy opened his mouth, almost dropping his jaw in surprise.
“What?”
Kelvin was the same. A look of disbelief appeared on his face, and his deep voice trembled slightly.
“Yvonne, repeat what you just said.”
(+50)
Yvonne was very obedient. She looked into his eyes and spoke cach word clearly, “The necklace on Marian’s neck is mine.”
With those words said, the room fell into silence.
Both of them became quiet.
“I forgot to tell you, Daddy.” Not hearing them speak, Yvonne hugged Kevin’s neck and explained to him in her soft, babyish voice.
“When I was at the orphanage, I really wanted to find my mom because some of the older kids would bully me. Whenever they bullied me, I would look at the necklace and sit under a tree, thinking about my mom.”
“But after becoming your daughter, I stopped thinking about it.”
Yvonne lay in his arms, soft and small, her warmth seeping through his clothes and warming his heart.
“Now I have so many things to do every day. I have to go to school, plant flowers, take care of the little fish, visit Anna, watch the kittens with Grandpa, and eat Master’s candy… There are so many things to count. So, I don’t think about the necklace or Mommy anymore.”
She was so happy now that she had forgotten the last time she felt wronged.
Every day in the Adler family was a new experience for her, and she had been experiencing life she had never experienced before.
Her dad and brothers all loved her so much that she rarely had to walk on her own.
Unlike the orphanage, where she had nothing to do and could only sit under a tree in a daze, thinking about her mother.
Yvonne didn’t understand what had happened. She rubbed her fluffy little head against Kelvin’s chin, like a kitten.
She softly repeated, “I forgot to tell you about the necklace, but it’s truly mine.”
Jeremy’s eyes were slightly red, and his lips trembled. He looked at Kelvin for help, his voice shaking.
“What should we do, Dad? Yvonne…”
If she was really Tinley’s daughter, what would they do?
“Tinley has been looking for her daughter for so long. If she knew Yvonne’s identity, she wouldn’t let her stay with us.”
Jeremy took a step forward and took Kelvin’s arm helplessly.
It seemed like he imagined that scene, and his heart suddenly felt empty.
“Should… should we talk to the Holmes family?” Jeremy asked.
Kelvin stared at him, silent for a long time. The unspoken atmosphere was heavy and stretched out.

Chapter 103
His voice was stern, “She has been looking for Yvonne for so long. She loves her more than we do, and she needs her more than we do.”
Jeremy let go of his hand, his beautiful eyes looking like dusty black stones. His hands hung down by his sides.
“However, we can send Yvonne back after confirming the relationship, Kelvin continued.
“This way is more careful. Marian’s identity must be fake. If we don’t confirm Yvonne’s identity, with her emotions going up and down twice, her body might not be able to take it.”
“Okay.” Jeremy could only say yes, as he couldn’t make the decision.
As if she sensed something, Yvonne lay on Kelvin’s shoulder and looked at him worriedly.
“Jeremy, what’s wrong with you?”
“It’s okay.” Jeremy forced a smile that looked worse than crying, his voice filled with restraint. “I’m fine.”
Yvonne rested her chin on her father’s shoulder, her voice muffled and unhappy.
“You’re lying.”
She sighed and finally buried her little head in silence.
She became like a quiet little cat.
In the lobby on the first floor of Horizon Tower, the Yates family looked confused.
They still didn’t know what happened.
Marian was their daughter, but that man just now seemed more nervous than they were.
Even if he was in a hurry to take Marian to the hospital, he should have at least told them as her parents.
Upon seeing Kelvin, Nina hurriedly ran over to stop him.
“Mr. Adler, wait a minute.”
She knew Kelvin and lan were close, so she wanted to ask him for help.
