After Gregory Graham gave out his orders, he turned around and strode away.
However, Lucius had come prepared, so how could he be tracked by them so easily?
Their route disappeared midway.
In the vast skies overhead, how could Gregory still find any trace of them?
Gregory smashed a vase in rage and was fuming.
He was finally certain that Vickie was indeed in the hands of the Chinese Association.
His eyes grew dark.
Ha! They could run, but they could not hide! Did they really think they could just get away like that?
Thus, he immediately gathered some staff, and fiercely rushed over to Country F Chinese Association's headquarters.
On the other side.
When Vickie woke up again, she found herself in a moving vehicle.
It was not one of those small cars, but a large truck.
She was lying at the back of the truck with two cushions in the compartment, and because the door was closed, it was pitch black around her. It was only through the crack in the compartment door that she vaguely saw there was daylight outside.
Vickie was so shocked that she sat up immediately.
When she sat up, she realized that her hands and feet were bound.
It was tied in a tricky way. The more she struggled, the more it tightened.
Vickie's heart sank and she did not move, she leaned against the carriage wall and with a sullen face, recalled the scene before she passed out.
At that time, someone from outside had broken in, and she was looking for just the right opportunity to escape.
However, she did not expect that Lucius would grab Andrea and blackmail her with Andrea’s life.
She knew that the people outside would not be able to get in that quickly, and she could not bear to see Andrea get hurt, so she temporarily compromised and agreed to exchange herself for Andrea.
Of course, she saw that she would be able to escape right away and she would never allow herself to fall into the enemy’s hands at this time.
Therefore, she had only pretended to comply, but in reality, she had secretly made preparations to take the initiative to rescue Andrea. She was only waiting to get close.
In fact, she did exactly that. Lucius was unprepared and, coupled with the chaotic situation outside, he was distracted and had been caught off guard.
She managed to hit Lucius and grabbed Andrea to run outside, but just when she was about to reach the door, someone suddenly made a move and knocked her out.
The person that attacked her was Andrea, whom she was protecting with all her heart and was willing to save at the cost of her own life.
As Vickie thought of this, her eyes went cold.
She had never thought that Andrea would do that.
It was not until this moment that she suddenly realized that something was wrong.
These days, Andrea's words and actions around her, the fact that she had been brought here without any harm, and the fact that she was captured in the first place, were all because she had accompanied Andrea to the bathroom.
That meant...Andrea was actually a member of the Chinese Association all along?
Andrea was only lurking by her side and only did what she was told so she could strike a killing blow when the time was right?
Was it also Andrea’s doing in the previous assassination and poisoning incident at the chateau?
Vickie was horrified as she thought of this.
She felt cold sweat breaking out on her back.
Just at that moment, the truck stopped.
The compartment door opened and a slender figure climbed up.
Vickie stared at her coldly.
She paused, opened a bottle of mineral water, and held it to Vickie’s mouth to feed her a sip.
Vickie did not refuse.
She was in fact thirsty, and under the circumstances, she was not so ignorantly foolish as to hold a grudge by not eating or drinking just because the other person had lied to her.
Vickie understood that only those who cared for her would be aggravated if she did not eat or drink, but the enemy would not.
The only one who would suffer from it was herself.
Thus, she would not refuse.
She was also not worried about the enemy drugging her because her current situation was already much more dangerous than if they drugged her.
There was absolutely no need for the other side to go the extra mile.
Amber saw that she drank the water properly then broke off a small piece of the bread in her hand and put it into Vickie’s mouth.
She said, "I wasn't targeting you, but while lurking in Gregory's chateau, you came here by mistake on your own. Then, Gregory arranged for me to serve you. I can't do anything about that, can I?"
Vickie's eyes were unsympathetic, and she sneered.
"So you admit that you’re a member of the Chinese Association?"
Amber looked at her and said indifferently, "Whatever you want to think."
Vickie choked.
She did not understand what she meant.
What did she mean by whatever she thought?
Vickie pondered. At this time, she could not escape anyway, so she simply gave up on the idea and would instead try to get as much information from Amber as she could.
Her voice was frigid as she said, “This was also arranged by you? You deliberately made me feel guilty, let me take you out shopping, then pretended to be drunk and let me accompany you to the bathroom?"
