“I've never mistreated Stanley! Alex, stop making a scene. We're in the middle of our wedding ceremony. Can we talk about this later tonight?”

Kate gently tugged at Alex's clothes, her pleading expression resembling that of a woman who was trying to consider the bigger picture.
