Frank didn't come to the karaoke bar for leisure. He was a man from out of town, involved in the underworld. He was currently in big trouble and had fled to Nebula City for refuge.

The reason he came to this place was to seek refuge with Flynn, the underground king of Nebula City. Flynn had promised to take him in. With a big shot like Flynn backing him up, he had no one to fear in Nebula City.

“You're done for, kid! Once Mr. Dunn gets here, you won't even know what hit you. You really must have a death wish to dare lay a hand on me!” Frank said angrily.

With a cold laugh, Alex ignored Frank, planning to leave with Heather first. Now that Heather was drunk, she was touching him all over. Alex wouldn't be able to stand it, no matter how strong his self-control was.

“Did I let you off the hook, kid? Stand still and leave this beauty here. Even if I can't have her, she's for Mr. Dunn to enjoy. You will never get a chance with her.” Frank pointed at Alex with his good arm.

“D-Don't go!” Frank said with a hint of fear. No matter what, he had to stall for time. He was sure Alex wouldn't be able to act so arrogantly anymore once Mr. Dunn arrived.

“Fine, I won't leave. I'd like to see who you called on!” Alex was irritated by Frank. Hence, he wanted to see who Frank's boss was to give him such courage.

“Mr. Dunn, you promised to take me in as your lackey. How can you turn your back on me now? You even dared to lay a hand on me. Is this the way your Nebula City operates?” Frank said through gritted teeth.

Flynn didn't expect Frank to still have the nerve to speak. He lifted his leg and kicked him, cursing, “Are you blind? Do you know who you've offended? That's my bro! Who do you think you are? I am the law in Nebula City. I make the rules here!”

Flynn glanced at Heather in Alex's arms and immediately guessed what had happened. Even if Alex and Heather were divorced, Heather was not a woman that any man could casually mess with.
