Chapter 886: Chapter 884: TALKING ABOUT BOYS 4

"Sis, you just met him today. How could you say that?" Ruby just couldn’t get it. She wanted to know more.

"Hehe, darling. We might have not known each other for a long time, but I trust my eyes. If they don’t work, I simply ask Andy to do that in-depth search for me."

"So, what about him do you like?" she was curious to hear this answer, to be honest.

Diamond squinted her eyes as she thought about what she liked about him.

"When I first saw him, I loved how tall and handsome he was. I am a sucker for good-looking people, so I kinda liked him. But then, as time goes on, I realized that he is quite a good catch," Diamond couldn’t help but speak with melancholy, which made Ruby frown, wondering what her sister was on about.

According to her words, Diamond and Waylon had met several times, right?

"Sis, have you met each other before tonight?"

Diamond looked at her with a smile and nodded, "Yes, we have."

Ruby shook when she heard that. Luckily, Diamond didn’t notice as she shifted her focus to the gifts while continuing.

"I first saw him during the time I raced at the club. He was a spectator, and I liked him a lot but alas, I heard that he was taken," she said sighingly recalling how that had devastated her.

When Ruby heard that, she couldn’t help but cool down.

There was one thing that she knew about Diamond. She would never wreck anyone’s relationship.

"I was sad when I heard about it but I cooled down after a moment. How could such a fine young man not be taken?" she said with a laugh and Ruby couldn’t help but be enthralled by the story.

"So, what did you do?"

"Hehe, I just let it be. Out of sight, out of mind, fast forward to a few weeks ago. In fact, the night before Gael visited. I went to look for you but you were busy. You remember it?"

Ruby nodded her head, a foreboding inkling overwhelming her.

"I was a bit hungry, so I looked around until I spotted a hidden restaurant."

Boom!

Ruby’s heart pounded like crazy when that was said.

Could it be that she was the force that made those two meet again?

What kind of bad luck was this?

"I wanted to check the place out, but who would have known that I would come across a crazy scene?"

She then narrated the breakup scene vividly. It made Ruby feel pity for Waylon.

Just picturing the kind of state that he was in and how he felt saved by Diamond’s intervention. She was starting to understand why Waylon fell for Diamond.

If she was the one in such an embarrassment state and someone saved her. She might fall for that savior. It was normal.

Suddenly, she no longer felt butter at all.

Fate works in mysterious ways. With how well Diamond’s life was getting. She could tell that her sister was a heaven-beloved daughter. She was like the main protagonist and her halo wasn’t a joke.

Since she and Waylon weren’t fated, she might as well let him go for good and focus on those who love her the most.

"I felt like that was my chance. He was now single. So why should I keep it in?" Diamond said exaggeratedly and Ruby burst into laughter, imagining the crazy things that her sister might have planned just to be with him. But then, what could Diamond do when she was so busy?

Diamond didn’t add the part where she and Waylon had dinner and fooled around. She simply told Ruby that she invited him to the concert and was happy that he had come.

"I didn’t know that you knew him!" after explaining her side of the story, Diamond shifted the topic to Ruby.

Ruby chuckled faintly when that was said. "Hehe, he is a friend of a friend." And didn’t dare reveal the fact that he was the guy who made her cry.

She didn’t want to mess with the guy her sister had targeted or be on bad terms with Diamond because of a guy.
