The next day, Diamond woke up very early and went on a morning jog before washing up.
Since she had a meeting with the real estate agent that morning, she decided that she wouldn’t be going to the foundation.
So, she didn’t leave early but waited for Ruby to come downstairs so that they could have breakfast together.
Due to Ruby’s business, Diamond couldn’t see Ruby properly as the other was tired.
Diamond waited for Ruby, who showed up around half-past six, dressed in casual clothes, and with a glance, Diamond could tell that Ruby would be working on the field.
"Good morning, big sis!" Ruby greeted cheerfully as she joined Diamond at the table.
Seeing Ruby looking pretty and cheerful, Diamond felt at ease. She didn’t want anything happening to her baby sis, especially while she was working at her place.
She still wanted to see her little sister soaring with her efforts. After all, the two of them were very different.
If she had not received the system, she wouldn’t be the person she was right now.
"Good morning to you, too. Did you sleep well?" Diamond greeted back with a smile as Ruby sat opposite her at the table.
"It was awesome!" Ruby grinned at Diamond as she answered.
"That’s good then. Where are you going today?" Diamond asked as she pulled the dishes closer to her.
"Oh! I need to see a few patients today at the hospital. Just some follow-up and all that."
"Okay, just don’t pressure yourself and make sure that you rest."
"Don’t worry, I will. Besides, everything is fun and I love it."
"As long as it’s like that, I am relieved."
The sisters chatted as they ate their early breakfast that Aunt Janet had prepared very early. Since Aunt Janet was staying at the villa most of the time unless she was on leave, it was only proper to enjoy the meals at home.
After eating breakfast, the sisters got into their cars separately. Ruby was the first to leave while Diamond followed after.
Diamond didn’t head to the foundation but went straight to the agency where she was going to be meeting the real estate agent.
She arrived just five minutes before eight and she couldn’t be faulted for nearly arriving late.
Unfortunately for her, there was an accident on the road that she was using, which caused a heavy traffic flow as a result.
Fortunately, only the cars suffered damage and none of the drivers or passengers were injured.
However, when a person is rich, even if she or he comes late, the other party would not react that badly and just accept whatever excuse the rich person spews.
Diamond was rich, and she was no longer afraid to show that. Since she was given the money, then she should use it in any good way possible.
The money she had donated and used for charitable causes in just seven months was a lot when compared to some reputable charity organizations.
Her people were working so hard and money was flowing out more than it was flowing in.
Currently, there wasn’t even a single profit earned from the foundation. It was just her injecting money while the accountants had their hearts bleeding from watching all the money leaving the accounts.
But that was life and she wasn’t sad because of that.
She had earned much more for doing nothing, so there was nothing wrong with giving back to society.
When she arrived, Diamond cooly exited her Angel XI, the car that truly loves drawing people’s attention.
As an avid reader of novels, Diamond understood well just how people loved judging people by their appearances.
There were so many real estate agency scenes she had read, where a buyer wearing common clothes could just be bullied just because he or she didn’t look the part.
In the end, the agents would be face-slapped after the person they have looked down upon takes out some black card or turned out to be some hidden bigshot that they couldn’t provoke.
There was so much drama in life, and Diamond didn’t want to waste her time by being an actress in one. Besides, why bother seeking trouble when she could just end it by exposing her status?
That was why she took her sports car that would draw attention everywhere, unlike her Arcadelle, which other people might mistake for a less expensive SUV.
Even her clothes completely screamed that a rich aunt was walking by. And she approved of that idea the second that she walked into the building.
The second the receptionists saw her, fawning expressions automatically appeared on their faces.
