"Everyone, line up properly. If you try to cause a scene, you shall be chased away!" a police officer yelled loudly as he looked at the increasing number of people outside the stadium.
Unlike other days when work started normally, on this day, they had to start very early because of the concert and the worrisome number of fans and passersby.
The stadium gates had been closed after everyone with tickets had checked in. The people that the police officer was busy dealing with were the extra people, or rather the enthusiastic fans who wanted to purchase the merch that had been set on the outside stalls.
That morning, the police officer alongside his peers watched as several trucks arrived at the stadium. The people with the trucks seemed organized and principled. They worked pretty well together and before they knew it, several stalls had been set with different items on display.
The moment the stalls were set, the joy radiating from the people made the officers wonder what was so interesting about spending money to buy trinkets.
The fans stood obediently in the queue, praying earnestly for the merch not to finish by the time they got there. The line was very long and there were even barricades on the street. The security was top-notch and what infuriated those who were outside was the music playing inside the stadium. It wasn’t that the concert had started, rather, there was some sort of event happening in there while they waited for Diamond to show up.
The event was already being broadcast live.
Standing at one of the many stalls were two friends who had woken up very early to attend this event. They were fortunate to live closer to the stadium and were huge fans of Diamond.
They weren’t extremely rich, but they were great savers. Ever since they failed to grab merch when it was sold online, they have been saving and waiting patiently for another chance. And that chance was finally here.
"What are you getting?"
"The album, photobook, t-shirt and a water bottle."
"I will get the same and add a phone case."
There was so much for them to choose from. If it wasn’t for the lack of money, they could have bought more.
After all, the prices were very much affordable. The album was priced at A$200, t-shirts at A$140 and A$160, and water bottles at A$200. The other items such as keychains, posters, stickers, photocards and bracelets were all in the range of prices of A$50 to A$120.
The prices got the fans eager to spend more and it so happen that the staff had plenty of merches to sell. To make matters interesting, the fans weren’t limited to what they wanted to buy. They were encouraged to go wild.
As a result, some of the fans purchased quite a lot since they had orders for others who sent them on their behalf.
While those who were outside were busy juggling between buying the merch and watching the ongoing broadcast, those inside were enjoying as well.
That morning, everyone gathered at the stadium after having breakfast at their respective hotels or homes. There were dedicated buses assigned to the five hundred fans especially which took them to the stadium where they were treated like VIPs.
Upon arrival, since Diamond hadn’t showed up yet, the fans went straight to the stalls that were a distance away from the actual stage. The same merch outside, was the same as that inside.
They came prepared already. Despite having the merch, the ones they were given upon arrival. The fans wanted to buy more. So they spent their money with smiles on their faces. They paid using either cash or swiped. Diamond’s team accepted any form of payment.
Time also tickled by and around 11 am, those inside had purchased enough and were now seated in their chairs while chatting with their friends and keeping an eye on where Diamond might pop out from.
"That place should be for the VIPs, right?" another fan stated curiously while looking at the exquisite tent with a few rich-looking people sitting there.
"It should be. Perhaps friends and family."
"I am quite curious, who might appear there!"
And they weren’t the only ones curious, as those online were curious about that as well.
While everyone was curious, the stadium gates opened and cars started entering the stadium, attracting the fans’ attention.
There were ten of these luxurious cars, followed by a familiar RV coach which made the fans rise to their feet, cheering for the person who was inside.
Thanks to the dedicated security on site, the fans could dash to where the cars were. They could only take out their phones and record dedicatedly that wonderful moment.
Once the cars came to a halt, the people began alighting and most of the faces weren’t that familiar with the fans. Some of them wore masks, it made it harder for the fans to point who was who but those people knew each other pretty well.
It was quite a mystery how they ended up arriving around the same time as others.
Among the list were Richard, Raize, Tiana, Selena, Clarissa, the twins, Essy, Wyatt, Sean and Waylon.
This group of people gave each other knowing looks before going to the tent where they were taken. Inside the RV, there were Diamond, Ruby, Ivy, Garnet and Dahlia. The Perry family girls have all united for this day and they were looking quite fun.
"Sis, are you sure that it’s okay for you to go out like this," Ruby couldn’t help but worriedly ask as she looked at her sister’s outfit.
Diamond rolled her eyes at Ruby and twirled around. "This looks damn fine!"
And the other three chuckled, finding this interaction very interesting.
Once that was done, they exited the RV under the expectant eyes of thousands of people. f r\eew,eb novel.c(o)(m)
