Listening to the system, she guessed that the following missions might have something to do with the cursed person.
Who could curse someone with a dagger with such a name? Dagger of suffering!
The name on its own was enough to send shivers down her spine.
Unfortunately, her curiosity wouldn’t get her, anyway.
After committing the dagger to memory, Diamond resumed her bath.
Moments later, she left the bathroom and headed to the closet, where she rummaged through her closet. After a long struggle, she ended up picking grey sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt with a PACE sports bra inside.
She picked a nice of sneakers before packing her customized sneakers in the sports bag.
Diamond added other sportswear, water bottles, toiletries, towels and a visor before zipping the bag.
Once she was done, she left the closet and got to the bedroom where she went to the car keys rack and picked the car for that day.
Since everyone knew where she was going, Diamond picked up the car keys for the Aclerean. She was going to show off.
After picking up everything, she left the top floor and went to the other floor where Gael was.
When she got there, the young man was already dressed and looking as fresh as he could be.
He smiled at her the moment he opened the door and affectionately greeted, "Morning, babe! How was your sleep?"
Diamond sized the young man with a smile and responded as she took several steps closer, approaching him. "I slept pretty well!" with a hit not doting in her tone, which made Gael flush slightly before coughing shyly while dodging her gaze.
"Cough ..... um, I am glad that you slept well!"
When she saw that, Diamond burst into a peal of hearty laughter as she pulled her lover closer to her until they were plastered to each other.
Dong. Dong.
Their hearts drummed loudly in each other’s ears. It made both of them feel a bit shy, but Diamond wasn’t one to show that easily.
She leaned her head on his chest and listened to his strong heartbeat while saying, "I will miss you when I am gone!" her voice a bit coquettish, acting spoiled.
Gael flashed a smile as he looked at the top of her head while his hand wrapped around her.
"I will miss you as well. huh .... I wish we could have gone together," he said regretfully.
After all, he wanted to spend the day with her instead of working. Unfortunately, he couldn’t escape from work.
Diamond raised her head and flashed a grin at him. "We still have tonight and tomorrow."
Gael looked at her affectionately as he caressed her back. "We indeed have those two."
She winked at him as she pulled herself from him and said, "Although time is short. We still have the future."
"I know, but I can’t help but miss you."
"I am not going anywhere!"
"I know and I will always come back to you!"
The two flirted back and forth as they went downstairs with Gael holding Diamond’s bag.
The two shortly reached the dining room where food was served.
Ivy joined them this time and the three of them enjoyed their meal with Diamond and Ivy, discussing business while Gael listened in.
After the meal, Gael reluctantly sent Diamond to the garage and helped her into the purple sportscar.
As the car was put into ignition, he peered into the car as he spoke softly to her. "Babe, drive carefully on the road and don’t overexert yourself during the activities. Okay?"
Diamond nodded with a smile when she heard that. She opened her mouth to respond, "Don’t worry. I know my limits," and didn’t bother to boast.
Gael was satisfied at hearing that and added, "I will watch the broadcast when it starts."
Diamond nodded her head fervently before gesturing for him to get closer.
