The next morning, Diamond woke up very early and opened her broadcast as she did her morning jog. Unlike the other broadcasts she does silently, this time she says several words.
"Good day, JEWELs! I hope that you are all faring well. I will not waste much more of your time at this moment. I have a few words to share with you.
From today until tomorrow, I shall be interviewing the lucky applicants who received the invitation to the next round.
Once I have picked the appropriate candidates, I will inform you. So, if you don’t see me active online, don’t worry much. I am busy organizing and making sure that the committee is on track!"
As she talked while jogging, she had no idea that the fans were quite enthusiastic and looking forward to what the future holds.
After the morning jog, she washed and went downstairs for breakfast. Ivy joined her this time alongside Ruby, who would be leaving for school after the meal.
When the meal ended, Diamond watched Ruby leave before returning to the villa and headed to the study with Ivy.
Inside the study, Ivy sat across from Diamond summarizing her insights on the files that Andrea gave her.
At the end of it all, Ivy came up with many great ideas, which she was very satisfied with.
As a result, Diamond decided to leave the interview to Ivy. After all, she might be a bit biased and that wouldn’t work well.
With that decision made, Diamond left everything to Ivy before leaving the study room for the bedroom to deal with other matters.
Looking at the calendar that she made, there were a lot of things that required organizing, and one seemed much more important at the moment than everything else.
Taking into consideration that schedule, Diamond lay on the bed with a tablet in hand as she instructed Andrea, "Dear, help me look into available hotels that I can use to accommodate five hundred fans."
{Mother, you want to help with the accommodations as well?}
"Um, it’s not like it’s a lot. Consider this a fan benefit of some sort."
{What about the place you will be holding the mini concert? Have you thought about it yet?}
"Um, not yet. I was about to tell it to you as well. The place I want it to be outdoors. It should host more than one thousand people, though I want just one thousand," she greedily said, her eyes sparkling at the thought of meeting so many fans.
{Okay, I might know such a place. Let me send you the list.}
Diamond smiled when she heard that and continued to scroll on the screen before a file was received.
She set aside what she was doing and clicked on the file.
{There are three hotels which are closer to the stadium you once hired for the marathon training. That place will be perfect for your outdoor concert. Moreover, since we once had a cooperation before. It will be much easier for us to cooperate again. On top of it, the weekend you want to hold the concert, the stadium will be free.}
Diamond nodded her head as she looked at the hotels that Andrea had picked for her. Among the three hotels, there was the Palm Paradise Hotel, where she owned 15% shares. But the hotel was slightly further from the stadium that Andrea picked.
When she saw the hotel, her eyes lit up as she remembered that she had a share in that hotel. Instead of supporting other families, she might as well support where she earns her monthly dividend. Moreover, she didn’t need to negotiate and make herself suffer.
She just needed to make a call and perhaps see face to face the CEO and get the problem solved.
"I will pick Palm Paradise Hotel. Make a reservation with the CEO. Tell him that I will meet him tomorrow in the morning. If he is busy, then let him find time to add me to his schedule," Diamond informed Andrea.
{Sure, mother.} Andrea acknowledged that and hurriedly sent an email without fail.
At that moment, inside the luxurious hotel’s CEO’s office, a man in his thirties was currently frowning as he looked at something on the tablet.
However, there was a ping, notifying him that he had just received a personal email. There weren’t a lot of people who had his email address. When he saw that, the frown dissipated a bit, wondering who was contacting him.
However, when he clicked the email, he suddenly sat straight as his gaze became more focused.
’Why did this person suddenly contact me?’ he couldn’t help but feel nervous, anxious and excited.
The man hurriedly pushed aside the wave of emotions and started reading the short email. When he was done, he was thrown into a pit of confusion. However, he didn’t dare delay but responded to the email straight away before calling his secretary.
