That same night, after returning home, Diamond spent her time in the study where she first had a brief meeting with Garnet, who informed her of when she was leaving for the other villa.
At the same time, also shared the report of how the cafes were faring. Garnet had purchased another building to open a café, making it café number four.
The renovations were still on going, and the inventory for the tea pellets was in abundance, so Diamond didn’t have to do anything much regarding that matter.
Since April started, Garnet also took over the matters of the two companies Nancy was in charge of. Diamond took a look at the reports on how those two businesses were faring, and she was happy about what she saw.
After discussing with Garnet, she sends her away before looking at that day’s reports on the other businesses.
And amongst the list, she was most concerned about the Radiance Manor, which would be officially opened on the eighth of April. The major reason why she would be going to Dielas the very next day.
The Radiance Manor project was under Andrea’s virtual leadership. With him leading, Diamond never bothered to take a look at everything that much. However, now that she was going to see the place personally, knowing bits and pieces, didn’t seem to clash.
So, she was busy for an hour or so, absorbing as much as she could. After that period, she was on the same page with everyone and didn’t find any errors regarding what was happening.
She had a few ideas she hoped to see being implemented though, and she was going to talk with Mr. Hilary, the butler and General Manager of the Manor when she sees him.
With that business dealt with, Diamond left the study and went to her room, where she spent two more hours replying to messages.
She had friends she chatted with and used that time to respond and play. She vowed when the year started that she was going to dedicate time to friends and socializing. Although meeting in person wasn’t going to be easy, at least online, she could do it.
She also chatted with Ruby, who was crying about the assignments and whatnot. Listening to her babbling was simply funny, and it made her night.
When it was around eleven o’clock there, she went to take a shower, changed into a pair of light pajamas, and retired for the night.
The next morning, Diamond didn’t go out for a jog but went inside the Golden Space, where she trained for a while, sweated buckets and soaked in the undiluted lake water.
Feeling very refreshed, she left the Golden Space and appeared in her room. After that, she started packing her clothes into a medium-sized suitcase. Although she has a storage ring, exposing it wasn’t ideal. It was better to remain lowkey when possible.
She wasn’t planning on staying in Dielas City for a long time. At most, just five days. She would return the following week after making sure that the Manor was running smoothly.
After packing everything, Diamond rummaged through the closet and picked an outfit she was going to wear.
Diamond wasn’t planning on causing waves that day at all. So, she picked something lowkey, a large-brim hat, and a pair of sunglasses. It was very hot, and she needed to take good care of her skin, although her physique was one of the best.
Her flight was that morning at eight o’clock unless something happened. With the distance from the villa complex and the airport, Diamond needed to leave very early. That was why she woke up pretty quickly.
When the packing was done, she left the bedroom, pulling the suitcase along. She went to the elevator and took it down to the first floor, where she found Garnet sitting in the living room with a tablet in hand.
It was around four to five o’clock in the morning. Not the usual time the two of them wake up daily.
"Good morning, Garnet!" Diamond cheerfully greeted her as she pulled the suitcase.
