Diamond’s eyes squinted as she covered her eyes from the glaring sun that knew no bounds when it came to spitting out heat.
"It’s very hot!" she exclaimed; lamentation readable in her tone before she put on a visor from PACE sportswear she brought along.
With it covering her eyes, she felt much better.
[Doesn’t she look good in that?]
[I am going to buy one for myself!]
Diamond didn’t know what the barrage was doing, but she knew that she was in a better mood after getting rid of the sun for a moment.
With everyone outside, she looked at them with a smile and said, "Let’s go! We still have another school to go to!" her tone was very pleasant to hear.
The six of them started walking towards where the group of teachers and students were waiting for them. And the drones were busy zooming in and capturing the essence of the school, making those who were seen to have several ideas.
It didn’t take that much time before the size of them, flagged by guards on both sides, arrived where the rest of the students and teachers were.
The headteacher who was very warm and welcoming welcomed their group. He was probably in his mid-fifties or above. He gave Diamond a good feeling.
"Welcome to our humble school. I hope that you traveled safely!" the headmaster spoke, his words very humble, a smile on his face which made Diamond like him even more.
Her eyes turned into crescents as she stretched her hand towards the headmaster’s while responding, "We traveled well. Thank you for worrying and for welcoming us at such short notice!"
The two shook hands briefly before separating.
"Hehe, we should be thanking you. After all, you came from afar!" the headmaster smilingly said, inwardly thinking about how soft her hands were and how this was their first charity event.
How could they let such a chance pass them?
Diamond was pleased with the man’s words. The smile never left her face.
The headmaster could tell that Diamond was the leader of the group, so he talked with her more.
Thanks to his positive attitude towards the group, he shared as much as he could about the school. After so long, he finally found someone willing to drive all the way to help, so why not cry all grievances and perhaps get more help?
While Diamond and the headmaster were having a heart-to-heart conversation, Julie was leading the other four and the teachers to take out several packs of sanitary pads and body lotions from the RV.
The number of packs being offloaded corresponded with the total number of students at that school, especially for the body lotion.
The schools didn’t have girls only, so the lotion was meant for both girls and boys. Diamond didn’t want to attract hate for girls and make them targets just because of silly sanitary pads.
By the time Diamond and the headmaster were done chatting, everything had been taken out.
Diamond, who knew that time wasn’t on their side and didn’t plan on wasting the students’ time to learn, didn’t waste everyone’s time.
Once she was given the floor to say a word, she took it without standing on ceremony.
