Diamond looked at the woman in front of her who emitted a warrior vibe, and from head to toe, the other was simply screaming deadly.
How could a woman treat herself that way?
Didn’t she want to be feminine and enjoy the liberties of being called that way?
However, when she thought of what the other person was into, she could only smile and chide herself to mind her own business.
People do walk on different paths and she didn’t have the right to force others to live in a manner that they didn’t want or didn’t suit them.
Looking at this person, the chief she was supposed to meet, she couldn’t help but applaud her inside her heart.
At such a young age, she managed to be the head of such an extraordinary organization. She could imagine how capable and talented the other person was.
Since the other person was waiting for her, Diamond didn’t dilly dally but walked with a pace that wasn’t so bad and shortly found herself standing in front of the woman, who stood in a posture that might have taken ages to muster.
She stood tall like a tree with her back straight. Wasn’t her back hurting because of that?
"Chief Raya!" Diamond greeted the other, smiling, as she stretched her hand in a friendly manner.
The chief, who happened to be named Raya, didn’t feel startled when the other called her by name, even though she recalled never mentioning her name before.
Considering this person’s means and talents, there was no need to panic at all. She smiled at the other faintly, the best that she could do when facing someone. She stretched her hand to meet with Diamond’s as she responded, "Grandmaster Perry!"
Upon hearing that title once again, Diamond’s eyes squinted happily and didn’t bother to hide that from Raya for a moment before saying, "Don’t bother with the title. Just call me, Diamond!" correcting the other.
Even though the grandmaster sounded nice to the ears, it brought her a certain pressure which stifled her. She didn’t dare be uncomfortable just because she wanted to feel superior.
When Raya heard that, she looked at the other with disbelief but didn’t show it too much. Years of masking her emotions came into play.
"If you insist, then please call me Raya, as well!" Raya didn’t waste her time objecting but agreed quickly and insisted on the other calling her name directly.
Since Diamond had openly expressed her intentions of being friendly, there was no need and no reason why she should make things difficult.
After exchanging pleasantries, Raya brought Diamond to the private room she had reserved before.
This was Diamond’s first time coming to the hotel she owned a generous number of shares. She would be receiving March’s dividends in a week or so, and yet she had never visited the place since she acquired the shares.
So, she was quite interested in seeing the place, which was another source of income for her.
