As he walked into the lobby, several thoughts and questions ran through his mind.
’What is she wearing? Does she like me? Just who is she?’
He had so many questions to ask, but a short time to get all the answers that he needed.
It was the first time that a woman was picking him up for a date. And it was just a bit strange that he wasn’t the one picking her up and it got him worried.
Especially when he fully knew how he couldn’t get past her firewall. Apart from the public knowledge that could be found, anything about her in the past six to seven months was completely blurred.
And he was curious about that. However, the fact that someone was protecting her from the prying eyes of the public made him feel relieved but at the same time, jealous as well.
Just who was protecting her?
That was another question that needed an answer. And yet he knew fully that he wouldn’t be getting it.
Passing the lobby under the gawking eyes of many, Kian didn’t find it bothersome. For he was used to such things and thinking of Sullivan, Kian even felt that his life was better compared to the other.
’Where did she say she was at again?’ he couldn’t help but ask himself as he walked out of the doors.
At the entrance, there were several people either getting into the hotel or leaving.
And looking at the cars present, he was trying to deduce which car she was in, for they were many. Honestly, he didn’t have high hopes, especially when he was factoring in the fact that she owned a farm.
Although the business sounded profitable, it was time-consuming and the money would only be earned several times a year. There was nothing like quick cash, and he doubted if she could afford a lot of expensive things.
Although he had seen her wearing some nice branded clothes and buying expensive clothes, he wasn’t expecting much. Not that he liked her for the way she dressed. He was just a realistic person and one that wouldn’t try to expect too much, only to be disappointed.
So, whether she had money or not, he was fine with her. This was the reason why instead of looking at that fancy car on his right side, he was busy looking at the less expensive cars.
Sitting inside the car and watching as Kian stood at the entrance without moving in her direction, she couldn’t help but wonder why he was delaying.
[My lady, if I remember correctly. You didn’t tell him which one is your car. So, how is he supposed to know where you are?]
Glaring at Andrea, who had started once again with his scornful remarks, Diamond took a few deep breaths before clicking on the car screen and making a call.
Kian picked up the call after two rings and she told him, "I am towards your right. I am in the navy-blue Dentley," before hanging up.
Kian looked to his right, where he spotted fully the car he had automatically been excluded from his mind when he was looking for Diamond.
