Chapter 606: Chapter 604: WOKE UP LATE!

"Yawn," she yawned as she stretched her arms, while groggily looking around, however when her eyes spotted the time on that wall clock, all sleepiness vanished.

"Damn! How did I sleep so late?" she cursed angrily as she climbed down from the bed.

It’s been ages since she woke up this late, and she couldn’t believe her eyes.

07: 30 am.

Of course, at this moment, she didn’t even realize that she had overexerted herself and that getting some well-needed sleep was necessary.

She was supposed to give Garnet the pellets early in the morning, but looking at the time, Garnet should have been gone already and so would her parents.

She was supposed to visit the foundation and hold a meeting, but with her being late, how was that supposed to be done? Fortunately, she didn’t announce the meeting. Otherwise, she would lose face.

Since that couldn’t be done, she was just going to do another task on the list and deal with the meeting another time.

With a puffed-up face, she hurriedly rushed to the bedroom to take a shower and prepare for a new day.

When she read that invitation, her brows rose in interest, curiosity and wonder visible in her eyes.

She couldn’t help but find it quite astonishing that some person she didn’t know, who lived in a city she hadn’t gone to in her life, would send her an invitation.

"Darling, help me look into Regina Williams, who lives in Amber City. I want to know everything about her that you can find. And take your time," she instructed her efficient son, Andrea, with the task.

With the matter of the dinner set aside, she continued with what she was doing.

Ten minutes later, she was well dressed and ready to head downstairs when she received an international call.

When she heard the familiar name, her eyes brightened up as one thing came to mind; her Khaleesi.

"That’s good to hear," she beamed. "Receiving your call now. Does it mean that everything went smoothly? It would make my heart shatter if it’s bad news!"

’They are finally coming!’ she exclaimed happily as she resumed her journey, looking forward to the arrival of those cars.
