Chapter 506: Chapter 504: DIAMOND HOLDINGS CORPORATION SUBSIDIARIES

Back in Athary, Frin City, it was a memorable day for many people.

As it was the first day of the month, two companies under DIAMOND HOLDINGS CORPORATION— Diamond Trading Company and Honest Diamond Place Ltd, were opening officially.

It was a day that all the staff hired previously were looking forward to greatly.

For this wonderful day, it took Nancy months to poach and hire the necessary people. She was the most excited on this day.

The two companies share the same building but on different floors. So, when morning arrived, there were a lot of people arriving at this once-abandoned building.

And they all shared one thing in common; excitement.

When people are excited and happy about their jobs, it also means that they have too much energy to cope with everything that will happen in the future.

Since Diamond wasn’t in the country and probably wouldn’t be appearing at the companies for a while, it was Nancy’s duty to address everyone.

As Diamond’s personal assistant in charge of this project, she had to make sure that the day would come to an end without a glitch.

On the first day of work, there were several things which the staff needed to know. And to make life easier for everyone, Nancy gathered everyone in one place rather than meeting them separately.

The whole morning was spent doing induction, getting to know each other, giving them the company rules, what they are expected to do and so forth. And among the things which they did, the new staff were given something new. Something that the old staff from different subsidiaries hadn’t been given yet was the employees’ code of conduct book.

It was a book which had everything jotted down. What they were supposed to do, wear and so forth. There weren’t a lot of restrictions, since Diamond never asked for her employees to feel forced.

However, every organization has rules, and people should learn to abide by rules at times.

These books were tailored for each sub since companies are different.

Every employee was supposed to work from 8 am to 5 pm daily. From Monday to Friday. If there is any work during the weekend, then it would be considered overtime. However, an employee mustn’t take advantage of that and not finish his or her job just because he or she wants to get paid overtime.

They were to wear uniforms. That was something that they felt was necessary. By letting everyone wear a uniform, they would reduce the case of other people who can’t afford to be pressured by others.

Wearing casual clothes at work tends to make people compare. And when someone feels inferior, that’s when people start having dubious thoughts.

All employees were to join the D-Angel app. That was the corporation app which all employees disregard for the company and what they do should join.

Of course, by joining it didn’t mean that those who worked at the farm would see what the people at the foundation were doing. All subs were divided, and unless they are friends or visit the home channel, they won’t be able to see anything from another company.
