Two hours later
Honk. Honk. Honk.
Following the other cars on the road, the black SUV with the Perry family was nearing the airport.
This family had been on the road for a while and was finally approaching their destination. They were quite excited as that happened.
"Dear, you need to take care of yourself when you are there!" Her mother was busy, as always, nagging, but in a way, she couldn’t help but like it.
Having her parents by her side, being worried for her and showing concern, was a dream come true.
She spent too many years without them by her side, and she nearly went astray.
"Don’t worry, mom. I will definitely do so. Don’t worry much!"
"How can I not worry? You are going alone and no bodyguard is coming with you. What if something happens?" Belinda rolled her eyes at her daughter as she chided her.
With what was happening currently, with Kian’s issues, what if those people happened to bump into her daughter and act excessively?
What can be done when that happens?
Unfortunately, Diamond wasn’t aware of her mother’s thoughts. She simply thought that she was just caring and being concerned like a mother.
It reminded her of the first time she went on a school trip. It took a lot of convincing and persuasion for her parents to let her go. To see her go somewhere far where they weren’t. Her parents felt their hearts wrenching.
It was even the case when she started college. Her parents made sure to send her straight to the dorm, just to be certain that she had safely arrived there.
Now that she was leaving the country, which was a first for her. How can they not nag?
"I agree with your mother!" her father suddenly added, making Diamond look at him, who now looked younger and quite attractive. She just hoped that those young ladies wouldn’t clamor for him.
If they dared try to vex him and break her family, she would deal with those vixens, plus her father on top of it.
No one dares to cheat on her family members, including her mother as well.
"Be careful and don’t do much that will attract attention. You won’t know who is looking at you!"
With him saying all that, what else could she say except to agree?
"Don’t worry, dear parents. This girl knows bounds. I will not do anything that will put me in trouble!"
Of course, even if she attracts trouble, and can’t fight the people on her own, she still has the Golden Space. If that can’t be done, she would just summon the Ghost Merchants. They were assassins, after all.
The parents rolled their eyes at their daughter, knowing fully that their words weren’t taken seriously, but having her listen was already a feat worth celebrating.
It didn’t take long before they arrived at the airport.
When they reached there, Diamond was a bit worried that her parents would get photographed and end up on the trending searches.
She didn’t want her parents to be in the spotlight for whatever reason. She wanted them to enjoy their lives and not be embroiled in her scandals.
Even if people talk about them, let them do it without exposing their pictures to the public.
But who would have guessed that they were experienced from the last pickup as they brought their masks and hats to cover themselves?
