With Diamond gone, Belinda and Richard started checking the office properly as they waited for the PR lady their daughter had assigned to them.
"This place looks luxurious!" Belinda commented as she looked around.
Richard smiled as he enjoyed the view from the top floor and replied, "It’s Diamond. How can her taste be mediocre?"
"Indeed. That won’t be our girl if there is anything less!"
The couple commented on this, and that before a knock sounded on the door.
"It must be the PR lady!" Belinda stated as soon as she heard the knock.
Richard groomed himself to look more appropriate as he responded, "She should be. Let’s go and check this place out!"
"Sure!" and she was ready as ever.
The couple headed towards the door where they found the familiar lady, the PR lady, waiting for them.
"Thank you for doing this!" Belinda politely said as she looked at the other.
The PR lady smiled at the couple and respectfully responded, "It’s my honor. You don’t know much it means for all of us to see you here today!" her tone was very flattering.
The couple beamed at each other when they heard that, feeling proud of their daughter at that moment.
They have seen and heard of her good deeds. And they were very proud of them. What of the people who worked with her daily?
"Hehe, we agree. What should we call you?" Belinda couldn’t help but ask, recalling how she didn’t hear the lady’s name at all during the meeting.
The PR lady’s eyes sparkled as she replied, "I am Maria Brown, ma’am."
"Mrs. Brown, I assume!"
"Yes. That’s it."
Belinda beamed at Mrs. Brown, finding her more pleasing to the eye.
With names now known, Mrs. Brown didn’t continue to stand there but suggested to the couple to start going around, checking the whole place.
Since that’s what they wanted, they decided to chat more with her as they toured the place.
The first place they checked was obviously the top floor, which didn’t have much except for the chairwoman’s office. Mrs. Brown, as one of the old employees, knew much, so she kindly explained everything as they walked.
The couple were quite surprised to know how their daughter loved her personal space despite not going to the foundation every day.
In the building, she once again made the whole floor her office, only adding the secretary’s office, which was used by her personal assistant Nancy. Who, at the moment, was working outside?
Mrs. Brown didn’t know what Nancy was doing, but the other must be busy running more errands for the boss.
On the ninth floor, that’s where the boardroom and conference room were. The floor where they were a while ago during the meeting.
On the eighth floor, it was the executive floor. Where staff like Mrs. Brown and her colleagues worked.
While walking around on this floor, Mrs. Brown made sure to introduce the two to every executive that they saw.
"Thank you for accompanying my child during this whole time!" Belinda couldn’t help but say gratefully towards these men and women who had dedicated their all to make the foundation work.
With how lazy their daughter was at times; it must be tough for them.
Upon hearing that, the executives who didn’t have a chance to flatter their boss since she was a rare person to see at the offices couldn’t contain themselves as they started showering the two with praises.
Their salary rates were actually quite generous than what other people were getting out there. fr.eew eb novel..com
