When Diamond spotted her parents, Ruby and Garnet, she felt rejuvenated. She couldn’t wait to meet them.
It’s been ages since she saw her parents, and she missed them.
And seeing them alive and well, and in front of her now, she was at ease and no longer as worried as she was because of Kian’s issues.
With the trouble Kian’s organization was in right now, they wouldn’t even have the time and energy to deal with her family.
They were busy running for their lives right now. Serves them well for messing with the wrong family.
It didn’t take long before Diamond was approaching her family and seeing them so close like that, she couldn’t help but increase her pace as she called out excitedly, "Mom!" her voice spreading, attracting more attention than before. fr\eewebno vel .c(o)m
However, she didn’t even notice what was happening, as all she wanted to do was hug her mother.
Belinda, seeing her daughter being herself, couldn’t help but beam at the other. Throwing caution out of the window, she walked towards a very excited Diamond and pulled the young one in her embrace for a hug.
"My dear darling! Welcome back home!" she couldn’t help but say, making Diamond choke at her words.
Diamond closed her eyes as she enjoyed her mother’s embrace, humming a response. "Thank you. I am indeed home!"
The two hugged for a while before they separated.
Diamond looked at her mother with a smile before pecking her on the cheek, startling the older woman who had never received such affection in public.
Seeing her mother’s reaction, Diamond chuckled heartily as she fled from her and headed towards her father.
Diamond wasn’t discriminative to any of her parents. So, she hugged and pecked her father as well.
After greeting the parents, she shifted to the younger siblings, and the greetings finally came to an end.
Diamond’s suitcase was taken by her father, and Ruby took her handbag while she held the bouquet her mother had brought for her.
Walking out of the terminal, with so many burning gazes at her, Diamond couldn’t help but feel giddy.
She had been recognized once again, and the feeling was too great.
However, she didn’t have time to deal with any fans or haters, whichever side had spotted her right now. Her family was of great importance and she needed to go home with them.
"Darling, how was your flight?" Belinda asked her daughter curiously as they walked out of the terminal.
Diamond grinned at her mother, recalling the earlier flight. "It was fine and yours? Did you fly safely?"
"Um. We did. We didn’t come across any troubling issues on the way. So, we are super grateful!" Belinda responded with a smile as she recalled the smooth journey.
Diamond smiled upon hearing that, feeling relieved that everything had gone well.
"That’s good then. I would feel guilty if you didn’t feel great when traveling. After all, I imposed the urgent trip for you!" she relievedly said, feeling apologetic for causing distress to her parents.
’It seems that these people talked about my clothes before I arrived!’ she couldn’t help but muse as she thought about that.
