The guest bedroom was decorated with blue as the main color, and seeing that made her heart flutter. Happy to see that she would be sleeping in a room that would make her feel comfortable.
That wasn’t all, however. As somehow, she found a portrait of herself hanging on the wall, above the bed.
With a look, anyone could tell who the owner of the room was. She couldn’t help but wonder if there was something wrong with this family.
By doing this, were they implicitly inviting her into their home and promising her a place to stay in the future if she ever came to Strawford City?
What were they doing?
She couldn’t help but look at Anita inquisitively. She was the mother of the house. So asking her provided more definite answers than the girls.
Without her permission, the girls wouldn’t be able to do this at all.
Anita smiled reassuringly at Diamond, reading her queries with a glance.
"Don’t let this stress you!" Anita chuckled lightly as she shifted her gaze back to the portrait hanging on the wall. "We all agreed to this. Since the girls took you in as their elder sister, then having a room in the house isn’t an issue. We can’t have family staying at hotels when there are many vacant rooms here!"
Diamond chuckled faintly upon hearing that answer, finding it very reassuring and senseful.
Since the other had already said this, if she spoke up and rejected, then she would be throwing away this family’s goodwill.
At least from what she knows, they didn’t have any ill intentions towards her. So, there weren’t any hard feelings between them at all.
The twins were nervous about seeing the exchange. They didn’t know if Diamond would accept it or not, but they sincerely hoped that she would.
They could only keep their fingers crossed.
Without going around in circles, Diamond turned to look at Anita and with a smile hanging on her lips, she said, "With the kind of hospitality that you are offering me. I have no choice but to accept it and say thank you!"
And when this was said, the twins cheered happily, rushing toward Diamond and hugging her.
Diamond embraced the twins, who seemed to be naughtier than before with a smile on her face.
She knew that it was the two of them who made this possible, so she ruffled their hair playfully, making the two giggles cheerfully.
Diamond, with a room dedicated to herself, felt emotional, complicated and happy at the same time.
This was the first time that she had a room in someone else’s house which wasn’t hers or her family’s. it felt very surreal.
With the room shown, the Ace family members finally left Diamond to herself to settle down.
With them gone, Diamond could now have a moment to herself.
It’s been hard.

Downstairs, Anita was sitting with the twins in the living room waiting for Diamond to come down.
It’s been over an hour since Diamond went into her room, and dinner was being cooked.
