With all preparations done, Diamond went downstairs, where she found Sullivan almost done.
She switched on the TV and tuned to a local channel as she waited.
Ten minutes later, the food was ready, and Diamond went to the dining room where the food was served.
The couple ate their dinner heartily, chatting now and then, with showers of praises being thrown at Sullivan throughout the meal.
When they finished eating, it was around eight. The couple didn’t go upstairs once they were done, but watched the news at eight first while digesting the food they had eaten.
When the news ended at nine, Diamond dragged Sullivan upstairs. He was being dragged there; an anticipatory smile emerged on his face.
It was going to be a wild night; he concluded, seeing how eager she was.
And surely, for the first time in his life, he finally learnt how wild a night can turn to be. Especially when looking at his body submerged in water, with pangs of pain coursing through his body and yet as a man, he had to grit his teeth and pretend as if he couldn’t feel it. f|re(e)web.n\ovel. Looking at Diamond, who was sitting on the floor in a lotus position, meditating obviously, Sullivan felt dejected.
’This isn’t how I planned for the night!’ he lamented inwardly.
Meanwhile, Diamond, rather than meditating, was currently in the Golden Space harvesting her hard work and piling everything into the barn.
Looking at the barn, which was full again, she sighed helplessly, wondering how she was going to deal with so much excess.
She didn’t dare stop farming, as it brought satisfaction to her every time, she did it. Besides, having more food wasn’t a bad thing, actually.
There was still time until she opened her other grocery shops and restaurants. The produce was enough to last for a very long time.
’I guess when the merchant team returns, I will have them donate more. Getting karma points by feeding others doesn’t sound that bad!’ with a solution found for now, Diamond resumed her hard work.
When she was done with the fields, Diamond, who had not practiced her fan techniques for a long time, spent quality time doing so.
Feeling her hand moving swiftly as if it were one with the fan, she smiled triumphantly, understanding that she had mastered the techniques as best as she could.
At least now, she had fewer worries if she ever took her fan out with her. Before she didn’t dare take it out, afraid of mistakenly hurting anyone with a wave, but now she could control her force. Which was for the best.
Moving to the next thing on the agenda, Diamond trained her fist and leg techniques before her training was cut midway when she heard Sullivan calling her.
Returning her unconscious to her body, her eyes snapped open before she looked at Sullivan.
"Is there something wrong?" she asked worriedly as she scanned him, though his body was hidden in the tub.
His expression a bit bad, Sullivan responded hesitantly, "This... um ... how long will this take? The water has turned a bit too much for me to handle!" his eyes shifting to the water he was currently submerged in.
Diamond hearing that, her worry dissipated. For a moment, she thought that something had happened to him, which made him anxious.
’Just how bad was his body for it to cleanse so much?’ she asked as she looked at the black water in the tub.
