"My lady!" Garnet greeted respectfully as soon as she appeared, her head bowing lightly and her voice very pleasing to the ear.
"Garnet, welcome. And be at ease, just call me big sister," Diamond affectionally said as she looked at Garnet who she had created.
If she were to think too much about it, Garnet would have to actually call her mother, since she was the one who brought her to life.
However, she already had Andrea as a son and having such a grown-up girl as her daughter would arouse suspicion.
Garnet raised her head and looked at Diamond with confusion before it sank in.
"Yes, Big sis. Garnet will follow your instructions," Garnet responded with a faint smile on her face.
Diamond was happy to see that Garnet was very fast to adapt to situations.
"That’s good then. Let me take you home and on the way, I will fill in with what you will need to do for me from here going onwards!"
"Yes, sis!"
Looking at the obedient Garnet sitting on the passenger seat as she drove, Diamond couldn’t help but be proud of her achievements.
If only Ruby was obedient like Garnet, wouldn’t she be more at ease?
On the way back home, Diamond told Garnet everything that she should know about her and her family.
She even introduced Garnet to Andrea. She trusted Garnet since she was the one who created her in the first place. And just like Andrea, Garnet was bound to her, so being wary of being betrayed was not a thing.
Andrea and Garnet got along perfectly well. Maybe it was because somehow, they were both from out of this world and advanced beings. But listening to them as they discussed some things she could barely understand, she decided to just be grateful that everything was going perfectly well.
It was around seven at night when they arrived home. After honking at the security guards on duty, Diamond drove in with a smile on her face.
When she arrived home, she parked the car in the garage and urged Garnet out of the car.
As soon as she was out, the door to the garage, the one that connects the garage to the house, opened and an excited little girl emerged.
"Sister, you are back!" Ruby enthusiastically exclaimed upon setting her eyes on a Diamond she hadn’t seen the whole day.
Seeing her little sister like that, Diamond smiled dotingly at her.
"It seems that someone missed me!" Diamond said teasingly as she opened her arms.
Ruby wanted to scoff, but for a second, she hesitated before she plunged herself into her sister’s embrace. She was going to miss a lot once school started.
"Um, you just left without saying a word!" she said complainingly as she raised her head. free\we\bnov(e)(l).com
Seeing her sister sulking like that, Diamond ruffled the other’s hair as she said apologetically, "Sorry, dear. I didn’t want to disturb your sleep!"
