Diamond really liked these guards a lot. They would always greet her respectfully every time they saw her and, above all, they didn’t look at her lecherously.
She could communicate with them without feeling nauseated.
So, she took out some money from her bag and gave it to them before leaving with Ruby, chatting all happily as if she didn’t just give away ten thousand without blinking an eye.
By the time the guards finally digested what had just happened, the sisters were already halfway.
Holding two thousand dollars each, the five of them couldn’t believe it.
"Just like that, she gave us nearly half of our salaries!" a slightly chubby guard had his jaws on the ground.
"This ...."
"Haha, didn’t I tell you before that it was worth it doing that before!"
"Hah, we finally see it. Sorry about scolding you before!"
The guards were very excited as they stored the money in their pockets, carefully afraid of something happening to them.
Diamond had no idea about what the guards were saying as all she wanted to do was go home and take a look at the first house she ever received after getting bound to the system.
As she and Ruby walked to villa number three, Diamond didn’t see a single shadow of anyone.
"I guess we are the first ones to return!" she sighed helplessly upon seeing that.
"There is no difference, though. The villas are widely spaced and unless we are closer to each other, we don’t even get to see others."
"That’s true."
The sisters made their way home finally.
Diamond took out the keys and unlocked the door before entering.
The house didn’t look dusty at all or had any lingering dust in the air.
"It seems Aunt Janet once dropped by!" Diamond stated after looking around for a while.
"Um. She is dedicated to her job."
"Indeed, she is!"
The sisters took the elevator upstairs. Ruby got off her floor while Diamond remained until she was on the top floor.
When she got out of the elevator, she confirmed further that Janet had indeed stopped by the villa and gave the place a cleanup.
’I need to reward this loving woman!’ she thought as she walked towards her room.
When Diamond entered the bedroom, she smiled as she looked at the small robots moving all over her room.
Since she didn’t want anyone in her bedroom, she had Andrea program those cleaning robots for her. That way, even when she was gone, her room would always be clean.
Diamond wasn’t so tired that she needed to rest.
Instead, she first opened all the windows to allow some fresh air to circulate in the room while she went and freshened herself.
After tidying up, she left the bedroom and went to her study, which was sparkling clean with more robots dutifully doing their job.
She opened the windows and cleaned the desk before sitting down.
