Her bank account still had millions in it and this money was already enough to buy a good house for her family. She was going to buy a good house for them and let them live in luxury.
Diamond looked at the school and sighed. She didn't expect that it looked much worse than it did in the photos. She couldn't help but feel very grateful to her parents, who did as they could to provide her with the best that they could.
The mini-bus stopped at the parking lot and Diamond looked at the people who had come to welcome them.
The five of them got out of the minibus and shook hands warmly with the staff and the principal, who had waited for them.
"Thank you for welcoming us on such short notice," Diamond said gratefully and softly with a smile as she looked at the older man.
"Haha, the pleasure is all ours. We rarely receive a lot of guests this side," the man sighed helplessly as he thought of how bad things were for the school.
Diamond and the principal, who was called Mr. Thompson, exchanged some polite pleasantries before going to his office for a chat.
Diamond ended up being the only person joining Mr. Thompson for a chat in his office, as her people were busy looking around the school and taking some photos and videos.
This was still necessary, and they had a lot of things to do. Inside the office, Diamond talked to the principal for over an hour, and their conversation was solely pointed at the school, and through the man, she could understand the situation much clearer than before.
So many people needed help and Diamond was going to do her best to do something about this at whatever cost.
After a chat with the principal, she was taken to the hall where all the girls had been called and were sitting down. The school's total population was over three hundred, with girls only a third of the total.
Because of how remote the school was, the students were those kids who came from nearby and faraway villages. Boys fared much better; they were slightly more favored than girls so they could go to school without worries.
While girls would forfeit their rights to attend school to accommodate the boys in the family or go and get married and start their own families.
