Kian, being the gentleman he was, asked for her hand, which she happily gave before the two were hooking arm in arm.
"So, what are we doing here?" he asked curiously as he followed where Diamond wanted him to go.
"I am famished. Let’s pad our stomachs with some food and then have fun!" she responded quickly, without thinking much.
Upon hearing that, he couldn’t help but look at her with raised eyebrows.
"Dear! Aren’t we going to see your parents early?" he couldn’t help but wonder.
Diamond chuckled softly as she raised her head to look at the man who was taller than her.
"It’s not like they will run away! Have a date with me first and we will go! Besides, if we go now, are you sure that you can handle the fire until night comes?" she asked teasingly as she thought of her shameless little sister.
Her parents might take it slow, but that didn’t mean that Ruby would let such a chance pass her by without doing anything.
Her family members had never seen her lovers before, so she could already picture how chaotic it would be later.
When he heard her asking that, he couldn’t help but contemplate.
After a short moment of brief silence, Kian responded, "I think we should have our date first."
Diamond grinned happily upon hearing that. "That’s good!"
With him on the same page as her, Diamond didn’t forget her job as a guide as she happily told Kian all about the mall that they had stopped at.
Diamond picked a less crowded restaurant. It was a bit expensive and probably didn’t get a lot of customers, considering how there were six customers when she and Kian walked in.
As soon as they entered, a uniformed waitress approached them before starting to serve them.
With the waitress’s guidance, Diamond and Kian picked a table in the corner without any people. She wanted some peace and quiet for her morning date. And to avoid others from mistaking Kian for Sullivan, Diamond had to be careful. fr\eewebno vel .c(o)m
Diamond and Kian both ordered their food before the waitresses respectfully left the two of them.
With the other gone, Diamond’s mischief suddenly returned.
"Pose for me! Want to take a few shots!" she instructed Kian as she fished her phone from the small bag.
Seeing her like that, Kian didn’t reject her but did as she wished. Besides, he would also be gaining in this case. The two of them didn’t have a lot of photos together.
Except for the others he downloaded online when he escorted her to the reunion, he didn’t have anything else.
Even Sullivan had nothing with him. So, with her taking such an initiative, it could be said that he had benefited earlier than Sullivan.
So, while they waited for food, Diamond acted without care, being playful as she took several selfies, portraits like an excited little girl.
As for the people constantly being attracted by Diamond’s naughtiness and her beauty, Kian simply pushed it out of his mind.
So, what if he is jealous or overprotective? It’s not like he would be able to lock her up so that only he and his brother could see her.
Diamond wasn’t a golden canary that needed to be caged. She didn’t seem like the kind that would love to be caged. She was a free bird, a woman with her opinions and one who stood firmly with her beliefs.
Otherwise, why would she be so bold to reveal her preferences to the two of them?
And he loved that about her.
If Kian wasn’t interested in her back then, and she had told him about her preferences, he didn’t know actually what he would have done. After all, it’s not an easy thing for a man to accept that his woman would be with other men.
As much as men can go out frolicking with others, for women, it was very rare, though all sorts of relationships were starting to come out now.
As much as the knowledge of sharing affected him a bit, he was still glad that she was honest with him and let him and his brother know about what they would be getting themselves into if they ever wanted to pursue a relationship with her.
Now all that he and his brother needed to do was to leave a deep imprint in her heat. That way, whoever comes in the future wouldn’t be able to shake their positions in her heart.
Fifteen minutes later, the food finally arrived. Diamond politely thanked the hardworking young waitress, making her blush as she left.
With the food spread on the table, Diamond didn’t forget to take a few photos.
