Chapter 150: Chapter 148

Diamond flashed a smile at Ruby when she inquired about the caller.

"It’s Clarissa. She just invited me to an event," Diamond responded without hiding the truth from Ruby.

When Ruby heard that, her eyes lit up.

"How is she?" Ruby asked curiously.

"She should be fine. You guys didn’t talk?" Diamond asked curiously as she stared at Ruby suspiciously.

Ruby dejectedly shook her head before saying, "We haven’t. you know how bust we have been."

Diamond nodded her head in understanding. After all, she knew exactly how crazy it had been for everyone at the foundation, especially with the holidays coming.

"Okay. When you have time, just communicate more. You will be attending the same school after all," Diamond said concernedly.

She didn’t want Ruby to be a loner. She wanted Ruby to have several friends who could actually help her when she was in dire straits.

Although Ruby had made some friends, it didn’t hurt to have more.

Ruby grinned at her sister and forcefully nodded her head. "Don’t worry, big sis. I will talk to her more."

The four of them finally received their food and started eating with relish.

After the meal, the four of them left the restaurant and went to the car, where they stored all the shopping bags inside.

After doing that, they returned to the mall where they went to watch an hour-and-a-half movie that got them tearing up. It was a romantic comedy, and it was filled with madness from the beginning to the end.

After enjoying the movie, the four of them passed by a café, where they purchased some iced Americanos to cool themselves down as they left the mall.

There wasn’t anything much that interested them anymore in the mall, so they decided to go for the next course.

By the time they left the mall, it was around three in the afternoon. Diamond wasn’t planning on going somewhere far but to a nearby entertainment Centre.

At that Centre, the four of them played all sorts of games and had fun to the fullest.

After playing for an hour or so, Diamond excused herself and went to the restroom to freshen up.

Standing in front of the mirror, Diamond admired herself as she washed her hands while humming a soft tune.

[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]

[Ding! You have been rewarded with a Moonlight Lounge black card.]

’What the ....?’ Diamond couldn’t grasp what she had just been rewarded.

She stopped washing her hands and removed her hands from the tap, making the tap close automatically.

Diamond retrieved the card from the inventory and looked at it with relish on her face.

Although she wasn’t sure what this black card could do, she knew that it was something special. And since it was special, she needed to know what it does as quickly as possible.

So, without further ado, she took out her phone from her pocket and quickly searched the Moonlight Lounge.

Shortly after doing that, the results popped on her screen. She began to read the results and an amazed expression appeared on her face.

Moonlight Lounge was a VIP club that was only accessible to members. The lowest membership subscription, which happened to be the ordinary membership, was around A$200,000, and this amount didn’t include any services provided by the club.

Moonlight Lounge provides entertainment services, restaurants, massage parlors and accommodation.

It was more of a mini-hotel for the rich people and provided the best security. That’s what she could find. Seeing all that, she couldn’t help but be curious about the club.

There weren’t a lot of places where she could meet the rich folks. It was a good thing to make connections, and most of these rich people had more knowledge and broader networks than her.

She had only been rich for eight months, while those people had been rich for much longer. As long as she associates herself with some of them, Diamond knows that some of her worries might be solved easily.

The black card was one of the rarest membership cards that could be given to anyone. It wasn’t about money or fame. Honestly, the person who wrote the review didn’t even understand what criteria they used to give a person the black card.

Whatever the reason it was, Diamond couldn’t wait to find it later. She had become one of the cardholders and couldn’t wait to find out more about what it could do.

But to see that, she would need to visit the club another day and experience the goodness of the place.
