“Even if I had to be the Buchams’ enemy, I would never let go.”

Elisa leaned against Remy’s chest. She apologized softly, “I’m sorry, Remy.”

He embraced her tightly. “Don’t say that. It isn’t your or your mom’s fault. I know she likes me. She just hates that I live far away.”

Even if she were to have a change of heart, Remy would never.
