Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2256

Julian got out of the car and bid Quinn goodbye. He watched as she walked into Wiltspoon Hotel and only got back into the car after she disappeared from sight.

Next, he took his phone and called his trusty assistant.

The call connected and he asked, “How’s everyone’s injuries?”

“Mr. Julian, our future missus was ruthless. Everyone has injuries of different severity and needs to be hospitalized.”

Julian was happy when he heard his assistant addressing Quinn as the future missus. He liked the ring of it.

She was destined to be his.

Quinn was growing on Julian.

The heavens have treated him well by leading such an outspoken girl to him. He finally had the chance to become a real man.

However, he was older than her by ten years. Would Quinn dislike him for being too old?

Julian had never felt old.

Men his age were still at their primes. Moreover, he kept himself in good shape and looked like he was in his twenties. No one could tell that he was thirty-four years old from his looks.

Nevertheless, Julian found himself old compared to Quinn.

She was born when he was ten years old.

Based on Quinn’s personality, Julian felt she would not dislike him for being old so long as he could make her fall in love with him.

“Get them hospitalized and treated, and pay for their hospital fees and meals. Also, triple their bonus for three months.”

After all, his men had gotten injured for the sake of his marriage.

He could not let them get hurt and receive nothing in return, so he generously tripled their bonus for three months.

The assistant chuckled.

“Please prepare twelve sets of gifts for children. Quinn has brought twelve kids over for a competition, six boys and six girls,” Julian ordered.

He did not leave Quinn out but there was no need to trouble his assistant to get her gift. He would get it himself.

Julian felt fortunate that he had accumulated some experience in pursuing women from helping Andrew to “woo” Elisa.

He knew exactly what to give a woman.

“When do you need them?”

“By tomorrow afternoon. I’m treating Quinn to lunch in the afternoon.”

The assistant knew Julian’s plan was perfect. He happily agreed to get the gifts ready for the kids.
