Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1974

Jasmine almost spat the milk in her mouth. She laughed and said, “Stop talking until I finish the milk. Don’t blame me if I spit it all over you.

“I don’t want to be fat. Even if I’m pregnant, I want to be the prettiest pregnant mom.”

After giving birth, she would have to hurry up and train to recover her slim figure.

As for what her husband said about not minding her being fat, she would just take it as a passing comment.

Who did not like being beautiful?

If Jasmine indeed became fat, Josh probably would not mind it initially, but he would gradually dislike it. After that, he would think the women outside were better than her and be distracted. Subsequently, he would become someone else’s man.

Did Hank not say the same things to Liberty back then?

How did things turn out?

In the end, Hank still hated that Liberty had become fat and ugly.

Jasmine would not let herself become the second Liberty.

“Then I’ll become a fatty. No one will like me if I get fatter, and you won’t have more love rivals.”

Jasmine deliberately said, “I didn’t even have any love rivals. I caught you so easily and didn’t feel victorious at all.”

“I’m an unwanted man. Only my wife wants me. Thank you for wanting me, dear. I swear to treat you well and love you forever.”

The brilliant Josh would not fall into the wide trap his wife dug for him.

Josh looked at the time. He said, “You can walk for half an hour. You need to rest after that. You’ll be in a good mood if you have sufficient sleep.”

“I’ve been eating and sleeping or sleeping and eating. I’ve rested enough. Stop talking nonsense and go on a walk with me outside.”

Josh said dotingly, “Okay. I'll be with you no matter how long you wish to walk. I’ll carry you back if you get tired from walking.”

Jasmine hooked his arm with hers and they exited the room together. As they walked, she whispered, “Hubby, can I have ice cream later? I’ll just take a few spoonfuls to satisfy my cravings.”

The weather was hot. Jasmine had been craving ice cream badly as she could not eat it.

Josh remembered his family doctor’s words. Pregnant women were to avoid eating ice cream as much as possible. He rejected his beloved wife hesitantly, “Dear, you’ll be able to have ice cream during this time next year. Just hold it in for now. If my mom finds out that I got ice cream for you, she’ll skin me alive.”
