About ten minutes later…

“Mr. Queen.”

The driver suddenly turned his head and said, “Mr. Queen, Mr. Kevin is already waiting at the hotel with a bouquet of flowers.”

Kevin was not at Fortress Hotel. With a big bouquet of roses, he went opposite instead, to the hotel belonging to Queen Enterprise. He stood at the entrance, awaiting Hayden’s arrival.

She said she had a lunch appointment.

Whenever she had a meal with clients, the venue would always be her company’s hotel.

Kevin had chased her all the way to the hotel and even arrived ahead of time to wait for her.

Upon hearing that, Hayden’s expression darkened.

Hugh said puzzledly, “He was still at the entrance of our company when we left. How did he arrive earlier than us?”

The driver replied, “Mr. Kevin must’ve taken a shortcut.”

Hugh scolded him, “Then why didn’t you take the shortcut?”

The driver was speechless.

He did not know Mr. Kevin would tag along and be quicker than them.

Hayden took a deep breath. She told her brother, “Mr. Jackson is already waiting for me at the hotel. I don’t have time to deal with Kevin. Take care of him for me.”

“Don’t worry, bro. I’ll pester him and ensure that he doesn’t bother you.”

Hugh promised.

A few minutes later, Hayden and Hugh got out of the car together.

Kevin watched Hayden with a smile. “If you accept this bouquet now, I’ll stop bothering you the rest of the evening. You told all the florists in Jensburg not to sell flowers to me, so I had to call my family’s butler to arrange for flowers to be flown over.

“Have you heard that Wildridge Manor is covered in an abundance of flowers? I’m willing to pay whatever it costs to ship them to you from Wiltspoon, despite the fact that doing so is expensive. Mr. Hayden, the words I arranged with the flowers express my sincerity. I truly want to go after you.”

“I appreciate your love, Mr. Kevin, but I’ve made it clear that I don’t like men.”

Hayden said coldly, “Please be kind and let me go.”

Kevin smiled and said, “I know you don’t like men, but I like you. It’s okay if you can’t accept me now. After some time, you’ll realize my plus points. I believe you’ll accept me after getting to know me better.

“I know you have a lunch appointment now, and your client’s waiting for you. I don’t want to disturb your business meeting, so please accept this bouquet. If you do, I’ll leave immediately.”

Was he threatening her?

Hayden glowered at Kevin viciously. However, Kevin was not afraid of her glare. He still had a grin on his face. He was good-looking, but he looked even more handsome with a smile.
