Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1826

Serenity felt Zachary did not take action because he had benefited from it. It was also because that old pervert was not targeting her. Otherwise, with Zachary’s personality, he would have made that pervert suffer in secret.

Zachary seemed to have sensed what she was thinking. He added, “Although he wasn’t targeting you, I won’t let such a shameless pervert off easily. Don’t worry. Your husband will stand up for you.”

“I thought it was Ms. Daniels’s doing. She called me and said bluntly that she fell in love with you at first sight. You have such good luck with women, Zachary. You have pursuers before and even after you’re married, and they’re all young and beautiful.”

In the end, Serenity’s words sounded sour.

Zachary picked up on that and asked her, “Are you jealous?”

“I’m not. To be jealous is to be bitter, and I don’t like bitter stuff.”

Zachary laughed. “Honey, people who say those things are always proven wrong by reality. I used to be one of those people.”

Serenity burst out laughing. “I’m a little jealous, but I can fight a love rival. Having many rivals means my man is outstanding, and I’m lucky to have married a husband everybody wants. I am blessed.”

She was indeed blessed to have married such an excellent man like Zachary. It would have been better if he was not so petty and stopped complaining that she was neglecting him.

Serenity had intended to go on a business trip that day. Since the incident occurred, she would have to postpone the trip to tomorrow.

“You’re busy, right? You can go on doing your work. I still have some private matters to handle.”

“What private matters?”

Zachary asked immediately, “Are you going to meet Shawn? You two must have a lot to talk about after not having met for so long, right? Where are you meeting him? I’ll go over there now. I’ll be with you no matter who you’re meeting.”

“Honey, wait for me to be back. We’ll deal with her together.”

“No. I can take care of issues between women. You’re not needed.”

After that, Serenity said, “I might have another love rival again. I’ve assigned numbers to all your pursuers. Let’s see how far that list of numbers goes.”

Zachary was speechless.

Whenever Serenity mentioned his admirers, he would lose confidence. Serenity only had one admirer, Shawn, and Shawn had already moved on from Serenity. On the other hand, Zachary’s pursuers kept coming one after another.

It was good enough that Serenity did not express her dislike for needing to handle the troublesome women he had attracted, so how could he be jealous?
