Colin felt a warm sensation in his heart when he heard the concern in Nathan's voice.

“Elites from the dark clans have come to attack Ms. Smith immediately after the Curia declared her the next Holy Maiden. If I don't kill Kaiden to set an example for the others, more like him are bound to show up. As such, I deemed it necessary to give chase and ensure Kaiden's death.”

“Go shower and get changed. Killing Kaiden won't do much to resolve the issue. We'll still need the Curia to make another announcement,” Nathan said calmly.

Colin nodded. “Right!”
