Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2896

Each of Thunderbolt's punches was explosive. However, when he saw none of his dozens of attacks had landed on Nathan, not even brushing his clothes, he became furious.

He felt like he was a powerful, angry lion trying to swat a fly buzzing around his head.

Hence, he roared exasperatedly at Nathan, “D*mn coward! If you're a real man, you'll stop dodging and face me head-on!”

Nathan wasn't in a hurry to attack for two reasons. The first was to give Colin, Kraven, and Kerry more time to rescue the prisoners from the Ghost Ship.

The second reason was that he wanted to gauge the strength of the experts on the ship.

By that point, he had more or less grasped Thunderbolt's strength. He's about as powerful as a God of War from a smaller, ordinary country.

When Nathan heard Thunderbolt's exasperated provocation, he went along with it. “Sure!”

Since a fight is what he wants, a fight is what he'll get! Instead of dodging, Nathan dashed forward and delivered his opponent a Military Punch.

Initially, Thunderbolt was stunned because he didn't expect Nathan would suddenly switch from the defensive to the offensive. Not only that, but Nathan was tackling him head-on.

With a hideous grin, he exclaimed in delight, “That's more like it!”

Then he threw out his own punch to intercept Nathan's.

The people watching the scene couldn't help but hold their breaths.

Thunderbolt was a hulking man with explosive strength. A punch from him was enough to make a dent in a tank.

Thus, he thought a single punch from him would be enough to injure Nathan severely, if not outright kill his opponent.

However, what happened next surprised him.

Boom!

The moment their fists made contact with each other, it generated a deafening explosion.

It also created a shockwave that spread out in all directions.

The shockwave caused all the normal soldiers around to be thrown backward like ragdolls.

Even Cyclone, Inferno, and Lightning had to press their feet down forcefully to prevent themselves from being knocked back by the shockwave.

At the same time as the explosion rang out, Thunderbolt's huge fist shattered.

Yet, the moment Nathan switched to the offensive, he took out Thunderbolt with two blows.

Cyclone, Inferno, and Lightning all exchanged a glance. The relaxed expression on their faces had been replaced by a grave one.

They finally realized they had underestimated their opponent.

After all, the young man in front of them had to be powerful enough to have the guts to break into the Ghost Ship alone.

Cyclone's line of sight landed on Thunderbolt's corpse first before shifting to Nathan.

He spoke slowly. “No wonder you have the balls to trespass on the Ghost Ship. It turns out you're a terrifyingly powerful expert. It seems like all of us underestimated you. However, I assure you that we'll not give you any more chances from now on and risk paying the same terrible price as our companion. Prepare to die!”

“Come on, then.” Nathan raised his hand and gestured for his opponents to attack.

Cyclone shot a glance at Inferno and Lightning.

Upon receiving their orders, Inferno and Lightning moved into a triangle formation with Cyclone to surround Nathan.

They didn't care about playing fair anymore. All that mattered to them was killing Nathan.
