Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2863

Since Bryon was humiliated at Pegasus Club, Nathan was convinced that they were no longer following the planned itinerary.

I guess Bryon won't be accompanying us to Lady Freedom Harbor this afternoon.

However, to Nathan's surprise, Bryon quickly recomposed himself even though he not only lost to Nathan but also got humiliated.

After leaving Pegasus Club, Bryon and the others had lunch with Nathan before the group headed to Lady Freedom Harbor.

Nathan could not help but be impressed with Bryon. That's what's so great about people like Bryon. They're just so optimistic. No matter what they've gone through, they always recompose themselves to get ready to face another challenge with a positive attitude.

However, unbeknownst to Nathan, Bryon actually hated the man to the bone even though he did not seem like it.

It was humiliating enough that Bryon had lost to Nathan since they were representing their respective countries.

The fact that he had been unceremoniously thrown off the horse only made things worse for him.

It was impossible for Bryon not to get upset about what happened.

The man simply suppressed his anger and pretended to be fine when taking Nathan and the man's wife to Lady Freedom Harbor as planned.

Bryon was determined to get revenge for what happened to him at Pegasus Club at the harbor.

After a tour of Lady Freedom Harbor, the group arrived at the famous Warriors Arena in the afternoon.

Warriors Arena was a large arena located at the harbor, and it was built in the style of an ancient Romdalian colosseum.

Because of that, Penny's face darkened while Colin and the Elite Eight boiled with anger.

Even though we do have some sissies in our country, not all of our men are like that, especially not battle-hardened soldiers like us!

Colin and the Elite Eight were furious that Max made fun of Eurasian men. At that moment, they wanted nothing more than to have a contest with Max and show him who the real men were.

On the other hand, Nathan remained calm and collected. “No matter which country, there'll always be those who are strong and those who are weak. I'm afraid you're stereotyping, Admiral Max. When I was Commander-In-Chief of the North Army, I killed countless members of the Coalition Army. The army formed by eighteen countries was so terrified that they ran away with their tails between their legs. If we're as wimpy as you said, does that mean the men of the eighteen countries are even worse?”

Suddenly, Bryon's smile froze while the faces behind him turned as grim as death.

Still, Bryon suppressed his emotions and put up his cheery facade once again. “You've got a point, Mr. Cross. Eurasia has sissies, but it also has tough men. Of course, those from the eighteen countries can't all be wimps. I'm sure they have heroic people too.”
