Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2842

Gianna raised her head and glared at Kaiser, frightening the man into a sputtering mess.

He hastily said, “Forgive my blabbering mouth, Ms. Gianna. Please don't be angry. Colin Dunne's early departure was outside of our expectations. It is imperative that we capture Ava tonight. We most definitely can’t endure Lord Antonio’s wrath if we fail.”

Gianna retorted coldly, “Well then, stop wasting time on idle chitchat! Let's work together and capture her!”

“Of course!” came Kaiser's reply.

He disappeared right afterward and materialized some ten meters away from his original spot. Then, he charged toward Ava.

Gianna did not hesitate and began attacking Ava as well.

Ava looked as frosty as ever as she stood still, surrounded by Lucio's and his men's corpses.

Those men had been alive and breathing just that morning, working hard to fight for world peace.

In fact, they had been toasting her just an hour ago. The memory of them addressing her as “Ms. Quinn” remained fresh in her mind.

Yet these hopeful soldiers who were determined to fight for peace were now dead at the hands of the two cruel monsters before her.

Ava had never been more infuriated in her life.

Rage burned in her eyes, and her body exuded a suffocating wave of murderous intent.

She gripped her triangular bayonet tightly and threatened, “I don't care what the h*ll you are, but I’ll kill you both tonight and avenge my comrades!”

Right after she spoke, she morphed into a powerful gust of wind and lunged toward Kaiser and Gianna.

The three of them clashed fiercely.

Gianna and Kaiser believed their combined abilities would allow them to easily subdue Ava.

Yet to their surprise, things did not pan out the way they imagined.

The furious Ava fought like a goddess of war. Armed with nothing but a triangular bayonet, she held up admirably against her two opponents.

She moved as swiftly and unpredictably as a phantom, her weapon striking at lightning speed.

In fact, she was so agile and skillful that even when she was faced with the vampires' simultaneous attacks, Ava eventually gained the upper hand.

Whoosh!

Naturally, Ava realized she had to kill off the vampires before she consumed all her energy.

She narrowed her eyes dangerously and stepped up her attacks.

Ava thrust her triangular bayonet at Kaiser and Gianna rapidly.

She vowed to kill them as soon as she could.

Amid their fierce fight, a tall, majestic figure suddenly emerged from the darkness.

It was a strikingly handsome and elegant man in his thirties. Alas, the effect was ruined by his extreme pallor.

The mysterious man was the notorious Lord Antonio of the vampire clan.

He did not feel confident in Kaiser's and Gianna's abilities and decided to drop by himself.

As he watched his two most talented subordinates flailing under Ava's rapid attacks, an angry expression appeared on his face.

Antonio muttered to himself, “It seems my concerns were not wholly unfounded. Ava might've killed these two losers off already if I didn't show up.”
