Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2788

At night, a sedan and a few black Audis drove out of the embassy toward the airport.

In the dark, a group of suited bodyguards escorted a man and a woman into Firedrake One.

Just as the private jet was about to take off, a large number of cars suddenly sped into the airport.

They then surrounded Firedrake One until it could not move at all.

Jurgis the prince was holding onto a cane with a solemn look on his face as he slowly came down from one of the cars.

At the same time, numerous men in black shuffled out of the car as well.

Soon, over a thousand men in black were everywhere around Jurgis.

The men in black were all trained and had intense looks in their eyes.

They were the prince's elites.

Jurgis had brought them there to seek trouble with Nathan.

Then, the head of the airport, who had a small mustache on his face, hurried over with a few of his subordinates.

When the mustache man sawjurgis, he anxiously cried out, “Prince Jurgis, this is the private jet of the president of Eurasia. What are you trying to do by having your men surround it?”

Smack!

Jurgis instantly gave the mustache man a hard slap. The force behind the slap was so powerful the mustache man spat out blood and flew to the side.

As a matter of fact, Jurgis had been so ruthless he had nearly killed the mustache man with the slap.

The airport staff members all turned pale at that.

Jurgis then took out his handkerchief and wiped the blood on his hand. Simultaneously, he glanced at the barely-alive mustache man and the airport staff members, who were quaking in their boots.

In a cold tone, he said, “The president of Eurasia? There is only one head of the country here, and that is our queen. I've come to settle a personal grudge, so it's best for those who aren't involved to step aside. That way, you'll avoid getting soaked in blood.”

The airport staff members' faces turned paler.

After Jurgis was done teaching the airport staff a lesson, his gaze landed on the private jet. Then, he yelled, “Nathan Cross, are you going to come down from the plane yourself, or do you want my men to do it for you instead?”

Jurgis angrily spun around and ordered, “Nathan didn't board the plane, so he must have left with a different way of transport. Look into his departure route right away! I want him intercepted!”

In the meantime, a luxury cruise ship was slowly moving out of the harbor.

Both Nathan and Penny were on the deck of that cruise ship.

Nathan was standing with a straightened back, and Penny had Nathan's coat on her, looking beautiful. They looked like a match made in heaven.

Ava and the Elite Eight were not far from them, ready to protect the couple at all times.

Right then, Colin came over and reported, “President Cross, something did happen at the airport. It seems like it was the right choice for us to leave secretly by sea. We've avoided trouble.”

Nathan stared at the endless night sea. His years of experience on the battlefield told him that there was danger ahead.

As he narrowed his eyes, he muttered, “It wasn't safe to leave by air, but it doesn't mean we're safe if we leave by sea.”

The moment those words were out of his mouth, Penny and the others paled.
