The moment Nathan, Colin, and Ava stepped into the building, a beautiful Eurasian woman dressed in a business suit approached them, and asked politely, “Hello, I am one of Robin Security's lobby managers. How can I help you?”
It turned out that Robin Security was such a huge company that they had more than a dozen lobby managers.
The lobby managers comprised people from Eurasia, Eagleland, and even Astoria. This was done so that they could provide the best customer experience to people of different countries.
Nathan glanced at the name tag of the lobby manager. The name “Chrissy Marsh” was written on it.
He then said flatly, “I'm here to look for your chairman, Quintin Packman.”
A flash of surprise crossed over Chrissy's face. Robin Security is a powerful company that has expanded its business globally. The chairman isn't someone that an average Joe could just ask to meet. But this man here... I can tell that he's different. Even his two bodyguards seem form idable.
With that thought in mind, Chrissy maintained her polite manner and asked carefully, “Sir, have you made an appointment with our chairman?”
Nathan replied, “No.”
No appointment? In that case, what right does he have to demand an audience with the chairman? There's no way the chairman will meet with someone who doesn't have an appointment made.
Chrissy muttered inwardly, her expression turning stiff and awkward, for she did not know how to explain to Nathan.
Standing beside Nathan, Colin could tell what Chrissy was thinking about. He then spoke in his deep voice. “Mr. Cross has never needed an appointment to meet with anyone before. Just go and inform Quintin about this.”
Chrissy widened her eyes, her expression turned into one of uncertainty. In the end, she mustered up her courage and said ever so politely, “May I know what's your name then, sir? I shall inform Mr. Packman about this right away.”
Nathan replied, “Just tell him Mr. Cross is here to see him. He'll know who I am.”
Chrissy nodded. “Of course. Please wait here for a moment then.
With that, she turned and left, only to return a brief moment later.
She then asked, “Mr. Cross, are you perhaps Ambassador Knight's friend who bought the imperial jade seal at Victoria Auction House?”
Trailing behind Nathan, Colin and Ava exchanged glances, seemingly thinking of the same thing. It seems that this Quintin guy really knows how to enjoy life, huh? Luckily for him, Robin Security has the financial resources to support his lavish lifestyle. Otherwise, the company probably would have gone bankrupt long ago.
Although the backyard was an elegant and beautiful place, there were countless bodyguards in suits stationed at every intersection, watching over the place with their piercing gaze.
Every single one of the bodyguards looked fierce and they were exuding a murderous aura. Any person with a discerning eye could tell at a glance that they were all experienced fighters with blood on their hands.
Soon, Chrissy led Nathan and the others to a wooden house, where she said respectfully, “Mr. Packman, I've brought Mr. Cross with me.”
A strong, male voice rang out from inside, “All right. You may leave now. Mr. Cross, please join me for a chat inside.”
The moment Quintin finished speaking, two burly bodyguards opened the door.
Looking as indifferent as ever, Nathan waltzed into the house with Colin and Ava following behind him.
