Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2753

“Protect Mr. Nuguri!”

The werewolves who were hot on Colin's trail noticed that the warriors had lost their lives to Nathan one by one. Nuguri was in great danger.

Hence, they gave up attacking Penny's car and turned to Nathan instead.

It was a shame there was quite some distance between them and Nathan. Nuguri would probably have met his demise by the time the werewolves got to him.

Nuguri knew he was on the brink of life and death.

His face grew solemn as he picked up his walking cane and growled.

Boom!

His hunchbacked body suddenly straightened.

A gigantic image appeared behind him. It was the image of the Wolf God, clad in armor and holding a club in his hand.

The image of the Wolf God was ten feet tall and looked imposing.

“This attack is how we show our respect to you!” Nuguri howled as he raised his cane over his head.

The image of the ten-foot-tall Wolf God behind him followed suit and raised its mace into the air.

“Ha!” Nuguri bellowed as he raised his cane toward Nathan.

The phantom of the Wolf God swung his gigantic mace down on Mount Rhea toward Nathan.

“Be careful, President Cross!” Ava, Colin, and members of the Elite Eight cried out in unison when they saw the terrifying scene unfold.

Tears flowed down Penny's cheeks. “Be careful, Hubby!”

Catherine and Morse, who were hiding in the Cadillac SUV like a couple of cowards, couldn't believe their eyes.

Of course, they'd heard rumors of the legend of the werewolves.

However, the more human civilization developed over the past decades, the more werewolves chose to keep a low profile and hide their powers from the public eye.

It was scary enough to see werewolves in person but even scarier to witness the true strength of a werewolf shaman.

The sight in front of Catherine and Morse had turned their world upside down. After all, they never knew such powers existed!

Nathan straightened his back as he went on to grab Nuguri's cane and the Wolf God’s massive mace.

Narrowing his eyes in concentration, he unleashed a burst of power to fight his opponents.

Even though Nuguri managed to hold Nathan off for two seconds, that was enough to drain the former of all his energy.

He had reached his limit, and retaliation was no longer an option.

Nathan, however, was only just beginning!

“Ha!” Nathan bellowed. A wave of energy flowed through his palms toward Nuguri's walking cane.

Crack'. Crack! Crack!

Nuguri's walking cane shattered into pieces.

Nuguri coughed up blood as he staggered backward. It was as if he was being pushed back by an invisible force.

The gigantic Wolf God image behind him shattered into pieces as if it was nothing more than an image made of glass. Specks of light illuminated the night sky for a brief moment before the image dissipated into thin air.
