The Volkian soldiers seemed to be in disarray as they charged toward their enemies.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Before the soldiers could even aim their weapons, they were already riddled with bullet holes.
Emerging from the chaos was a tall, good-looking gentleman in a Eurasian military uniform who led a fierce battle squad behind him. That person was none other than the Dragon of the West, Lucas Ziegler. Gazing at the sea of flames and the disorganized Ares Squad, Lucas ordered coldly, “Kill all of them. And find Volk's God of War, Isaiah Swift. I want him dead, just like the rest of them. Remember, you only have fifteen minutes, so make it count. Now go!"
The Ten Tigers of the West, the Fearless Eighteen, and more than three hundred elites of the West then stampeded to the Ares Squad headquarters like a herd of bison.
Obviously, they had taken the Volkian army by complete surprise.
While the two armies violently threw themselves at each other, Lucas hunted for Isaiah amidst the chaos.
All of a sudden, Lucas was confronted by a dozen Volkian soldiers armed with sub-machine guns.
Even though they fired their weapons on sight, the man moved so swiftly that none of them landed a shot.
Not only did Lucas manage to dodge all the bullets, but he also went past the soldiers as though they were not even there.
As blood dripped from the tip of his triangular bayonet, the enemies behind him all collapsed and bled to death.
Somewhere far away, a Volkian sniper aimed his rifle at Lucas and was ready to take the shot.
However, as if he could sense that he was in danger, Lucas skillfully kicked a pebble on the ground and sent it piercing through the sniper's skull like a bullet.
With an icy-cold visage, Lucas was determined to kill anyone who would get in his way.
The Dragon of the West disposed of his enemies with ease and made an example of those who dared to raise their weapons at him.
Then, Lucas pulled out a device, and with a push of a button, it miraculously extended into a long staff.
With his triangular bayonet attached to the end of the staff, the Dragon of the West was suddenly armed with a spear.
“Fight me and show me that you're not a coward,” taunted Lucas once again after stabbing his weapon into the ground as a show of force.
After taking a deep breath, Isaiah slowly pulled out his sword and pointed it to the ground.
Even though the man seemed calm and collected, one could clearly see the fierce battle spirits in his eyes. “I only have three names on my kill list, and they belong to the three most powerful individuals in Eurasia—you, the North's God of War, and the mysterious Chief Military Governor of Eurasia. I thought it'd be years before I get the chance to cross off these names, but here you are, served to me on a silver platter.”
