Meanwhile, at the headquarters of Novah Pharmaceutical Company, Quentin was eating a medium-rare steak.
He cut the steak elegantly while listening to a violinist playing a soothing tune. A blonde-haired maid with blue eyes stood beside him to serve him wine.
“Sir, here's your wine.” The maid offered Quentin a half-glass-full of red wine.
However, she accidentally let go of the wineglass too early, causing the wine to spill onto Quentin's white shirt's cuff. It left a red stain.
The maid turned pale with panic. She immediately kneeled and begged for mercy.
Quentin glanced at the maid and said calmly, “Why are you panicking? Hurry up and wipe the stain with a napkin.”
The maid calmed down slightly upon hearing Quentin's calm tone. She answered quickly, “Yes, sir!”
Then, she rushed to get a few paper napkins and bent down to help
Quentin wipe off the wine stain on his
cuff.
Suddenly, Quentin gripped the steak knife and slashed the maid's throat.
The maid widened her eyes in shock and held her bloody throat with her hands. Soon, she fell to the side of the dining table and instantly went still in a pool of her blood.
Meanwhile, the balding middle-aged violinist trembled for a moment.
Quentin put down the steak knife and pulled out a white handkerchief. He wiped his hand with it and sent a cold glance to the violinist. “Don't get distracted. You missed a note. Be
more careful next time.”
Derrick answered confidently, “I will give it my all and won’t let you down.” Quentin snapped his fingers. “Good. You should get ready and head to Eurasia immediately. Feel free to tell my assistant how much budget you need, and she will coordinate with you. You can also choose to bring any fighters with you. I have only one requirement. You must kill Nathan and bring Penny and Queenie here.”
Derrick nodded. “Understood.”
Meanwhile, a private plane landed at an airport in Channing.
Then, Nathan and Penny led Colin, Ava, Tim, and others out of the plane.
At the same time, Benson, Leah, Kylie, and Queenie were waiting anxiously near the airport's entrance.
There was also a large group of local leaders and numerous reporters nearby.
It turned out that everyone knew Penny won this year's World Peace Prize. They found out that she would be returning today and came to the airport to welcome her.
